About this deal

The milk carafe frothing system on the lattego is incredible. My parents have some old tube version of this and I can understand why people think it’s disgusting and hate it. This milk carafe is amazing. It already has pre-determined lines so you know how much to fill for 1 or 2 cappuccinos. Once your done you literally rinse it under the tap for 2 seconds and it’s clean. You adjust the grind settings — as is pretty standard — via a wheel located inside the bean container, but only when operating the machine. As always for espresso, I used the finest grind setting possible. Image credit: Philips) Philips 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with LatteGo: final thoughts

The control interface uses touch-sensitive buttons make it easy and fast to select your preferred beverage. Various lights will also flash if the water filter needs to be changed, water is low, or an error is occurring. Now I know this sub is pretty much against this idea of super-autos but I wanted to leave a little review as I do see people questioning them every now and again. With its two-part milk frothing system, the Philips 3200 LatteGo scores well when it comes to cleaning, though in other respects, it’s on par with other good competitor products. After combing through all the sub-models and color variants, I agree that comparing these two machines is most helpful:

The front of the Philips lattego machine is little lights for each choice of drink that you make. In addition, if you see the setting for beans in the machine, the machine will grind for use. I struggled with the photo-heavy first steps that came with rinsing the machine, activating the AquaClean water filter and setting the water hardness with the included water hardness test strip. Your results influence how often you will have to descale your machine. but once we got past those steps, I was ready to start experimenting with all the different coffee beverages. It takes up to 5 brews for the machine to self-adjust to the right coffee to serving ratio. The first cups were definitely a little weaker, but have since evolved into a rich, creamy brew. Philips lattego grinder 12-step adjustment setting and durable ceramic grinder can turn your beans into anything from ultra-fine powder to coarse grinding. The grinder is also 100% pure ceramic, tough and precise. You will enjoy fresh aromatic coffee for at least 20000 cups with the Philips 3200 lattego grinder setting on the coffee machine. Philips 3200 troubleshooting Although the Philips 3200 didn’t include “LatteGo” in its name in the United States until recently, it still features the same type of milk system as the Philips 5000 LatteGo series, which is why this system was touted as hot stuff. What’s more, the ceramic flat burr grinder with 12 grind sizes definitely sets the Philips 3200 LatteGo apart from other machines — at least at this price point.Philips 3200 lattego dimensions are 246x371x433mm or 17 x 10 x 15 inches, and its weight is 21.10 pounds. The coffee machine has 3 aroma strength settings, 12 adjustable grinder settings, 3 temp settings, and adjustable coffee and milk feathers. Philips 3200 lattego grinder settings

For this super automatic espresso machine review, I chose a brand of organic Robusta beans, which may come as a surprise to some of you, considering that I normally gravitate to light roasts and less bold, pure Robustas.Using Philips 3200 lattego machine can bypass the beans to use a different bean of your choice or pre-ground. The machine is a hatch on the top, filling up the measuring cup that combines with the coffee maker and then putting it in the chute. Philip 3200 lattego first use is pretty easy to tilt to the side for foaming up cream; it works fantastic. The different using function of machine is below: Hot Water/Steam Wand Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t the end of the world, but it does cause confusion — not just for me but also for those who’ve tried the Philips 3200 LatteGo. The espresso is also a very good temperature and a well-rounded, robust affair — as you’d expect from a perfectly roasted Robusta. Now, finding your perfect combination does involve working with the settings, and I wish it brewed hotter without having to tamper with the temperature controls. The water tank is easily accessible through the front of the machine, and it's positioning on the right side of the machine makes it clear to monitor water progress. Meanwhile the airtight bean hopper and automatic coffee grinder are accessed through the top of the machine with a removable lid, and holds about 9.7 oz. of beans at a time. Used grounds drop deposit into a grounds container chamber that is removed along with the drip tray.

Noise levels — which are pretty tolerable — during brewing aside, the extraction process is a bit too fast for my taste. On the lowest setting, a single serving was about, while on the highest coffee setting, it dispended about 4 oz. on the low coffee setting, 5 oz. on the medium setting, and 6 oz. on the high setting, with the ability to manually program your desired beverage quantity. Editor's note: Unless you also adjust the brew strength accordingly, the same amount of coffee is used, meaning my 4 oz. cup tasted stronger than my 6 oz. For us, it was well worth the trade off. We still love coffee and appreciate a well crafted coffee at that, but my god, when you have company over and can make 4 really nice cappuccinos in 2 minutes - it’s a thing of beauty. Usually, the ceramic flat burr grinder enjoys a premium reputation because it’s often quieter than its conical burr stainless-steel rivals, though I really can’t vouch for this in the case of the Philips 3200 LatteGo.

The machine itself is also not the quietest with the built-in grinder and milk frother that lets out a whistles as it steam. It's most comparable to sounds you might hear in your local coffee shop, so you may want to hold off on brewing a cup until everyone in your home is awake, or definitely out of earshot. Philips 3200 Series Fully Automatic Espresso Machine with LatteGo: Cleaning and maintenance Accessories: measuring scoop, Water hardness test strip, AquaClean filter, LatteGo storage lid, Grease tube That’s because the automatic system doesn’t have any tubes of its own and consists of just two easily cleaned parts. The controls and menu navigation are also easy to use — there’s no display, only touch buttons. What’s more, Robusta always delivers a decent crema. And the Philips 3200 LatteGo definitely comes to the party in that regard.
