Mobile phones should ideally be able to exchange energy in the near future: this concept is what’s known as “reverse wireless charging” which we briefly touched on in the Qi compatible Phones List. It offers many promising possibilities, although it does have a glaring shortcoming: reverse wireless charging in its current state is working with the slower 5 watts. Nevertheless, this concept is highly interesting and can prove immensely useful in emergencies.

Most smartphones include a built-in Qi standard, while older devices may require an upgrade from their manufacturer. Generally speaking, you can upgrade most other mobile phones with a Qi adapter.
