It is essential that you format your SD card every 2-3 weeks to delete the Protected filed and free up space on your memory card for new recordings. For added convenience, the 412GW has an automatic recording function that starts and stops recording as you drive. This eliminates the need for manual operation and ensures that you capture all important moments on the road. It also has a loop recording feature, which overwrites the oldest footage when the memory card is full, ensuring continuous recording without interruption. Then the Dash Cam will be visible as a removable drive on your computer. If you go into My Computer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) you will be able to see the Dash Cam listed as a drive, usually called NEXTBASE.

The 622GW is the only dashcam in the range to feature a resolution of 4k, this allows for really crisp videos and you’ll be able to identify signs, faces and reg plates with ease. Another upgrade you’ll find in the 622GW that wasn’t features in the 522GW is digital image stabilization, this works much like it does on high end DSLR cameras to digitally make videos smoother and iron out the bumps.
