Kids Against Maturity is a goofy game that mimics our favorite guilty pleasure party game that isn’t as boring as Apples to Apples. By taking the vulgarity down a couple levels, Kids Against Maturity successfully fills that awkward gap with age-appropriate potty mouth banter that everyone in the family can have fun with. They didn’t warn you about this, but there are a lot of fart and poop jokes. Well, yeah, most of the kids love them. It’s a super enjoyable, hilarious game that brings the whole family together through age-appropriate, juvenile, toilet humor. Plus, parents who find some cards to be a little too edgy can easily omit them at the start of the game. It was nice seeing everyone engaged, and discussing the winning combinations after the winner was announced. Fun, fun, fun, and fun. The rules are almost the same as the rules of Cards Against Humanity. Here, I’ll explain them step by step.

Well, what are you waiting for? Call whoever you need to call and plan a fun night with friends/family or anyone else you know that has kids. Trust me! Kids will absolutely add the fun to the game! At times it is a very funny game for a very inappropriate fun game night that has its moments and some hilarious answers. With it being based around American culture and phrases some of the answers just didn’t hit home (having to look up someone’s name to make the joke work just takes away any humour in the joke). Some of the answers are inappropriate depending on the age, maturity and level of understanding or naivety of the children playing – how do you explain what a “turd burglar” is to a 10 year old? Whilst it might be funny for some, others will find it offensive and to be honest it isn’t something a 10 year old needs to know about yet. Yes, you can go through the cards before playing to remove anything you might deem inappropriate but that times time to go through 600 cards and will spoil the enjoyment. A majority of the cards will be innocent and inoffensive toilet humour that players will wet themselves with laughter (hopefully not literally) especially when the answer is in perfect context with the question. It is easy to play, can be as long or short a game as you like, there are over 4,000 combinations of answers and questions and is nice and compact to make a great travel game. Kids Against Maturity is a party card game for 4 or more players that involves plenty of toilet humour, something that should appeal to kids and fun-loving adults alike. If you have heard of Cards Against Humanity this is the less risqué version (supposedly), suitable for families and children aged 10+. Although my daughter is only eight, after I read through the cards I knew she would love the toilet humour as much as my 11-year-old and I wasn’t wrong. From its very own name, Kids Against Maturity will surely remind you of Cards Against Humanity. What we will really find out after this review is what else is there in common between these two games.

Especially when hearing those little giggles when they[kids] hear or play a somewhat dirty card (which usually have to do with farts or poop). This game is exactly what you think it is. Finally, a family-friendly version. Layered innuendoes for parents and kids to enjoy equal levels of laughter.
