The Snap-Cap washer is available to suit either Countersunk screws, or for any of the ‘Flat-Bottom’ fixings (such as pan-head screws). Using the correct washer type will support your fixing properly, giving improved clamping performance and prevent the screw distorting the washer - crucial to why genuine Snap-Caps are the ONLY cover caps that COMPLETELY seal the head of the fixing. This prevents the Washer from flexing as the Cap is being pushed on. I need a method to cover screws for a high end client at a blue chip event and Snap-caps fitted the bill perfectly, not only was the product great the range of colours gave a perfect finish. Excellent job Ensure you are using the correct Washer type for the head of the fixing - you MUST use a CSK Washer with Countersunk-head fixings, and F/B Washer for all "flat-bottomed" fixings such as pan-heads, flange-heads etc. You are not using the correct technique to fit the Cap to the Washer. Because Snap-Caps are designed and moulded to very fine tolerances, the caps cannot be pushed on "flat". Do NOT hit Caps with a hammer (or similar) - it will cause the Caps to split
