To me this is definitely a must-have, whether it's this edition or another one. But that's the one that I use. I have to say that I don't use this nearly as much as I used to, as my collection has expanded considerably since my fragrance journey began, and I've kind of moved on when it comes to this Aventus DNA, but what a great, affordable and mass-appealing fragrance this is, especially if you're new to perfume. I paid about twice as much for a bottle of CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum as I did for a bottle of the EDT and I have to say, even at that price point, it's still dirt cheap for what you get, and still cheaper than buying the average designer scent.It opens with mostly 30% lemon, 20% cedar, 15% smoke, 15% musk, and 10% pepper. The lemon dissipates a bit in the dry-down as the cedar, smoke, and pepper become more dominant. These notes smell mostly synthetic causing the smoke to seem a bit ashy, the cedar to smell a bit like pencil shavings, and the lemon to smell like a lemon cleaner rather than a fresh lemon. The blend smells nice in the air, but more synthetic and harsh as you get closer, including in the dry-down. Of all the cheap Aventus recreations, I think this smells second best after Mont Blanc Explorer.

Erase the bug spray vibes of the EDT, smooth it out, and crank up the smokiness. That’s what you get here. It’s great. The biggest differences are that the florals, fruits, and some of the greener/earthy notes are toned down in CDNIMLE while the lemon, smoke, and pepper are ramped up. The quality of ingredients in Aventus also give it a much more natural and pleasant scent profile. I have several batches of Aventus from 2019, one from 2016 (16k11 if you're into the batch game) and the new hype monster F388. All that to say: I'm familiar with the scent profile as well as batch to batch and year to year variations. I work with the public and nothing I have worn gets compliments like this. I wear some heavy hitters including PDM Layton, D&G The One, Spicebomb, Chanel Allure Eau Extreme, La Yuqawam (Tuscan leather clone), Moustache EDP (YSL Tuxedo Clone), Aqua Di Gio Profumo, you get the idea…

I don't get many compliments...but this has garnered me the most compliments of my entire collection of 50+ colognes. As good as Creed? That’s a relative question… people that have never smelled Creed, or aren’t frag heads won’t know the difference, while that who have smelled Aventus will easily be able to tell you it isn’t Creed. While I know each human has different chemistry when it comes to sauces anyone spraying more than one shot of this is either insane or singularly self-absorbed to others in their space and has destroyed their olfactory senses with a lifetime of overspraying. CDNIMLEP lasts longer and projects further than any aventus batch over the last like half a decade. There is one more thing that I think needs to be mentioned, and that may run counter to what other people on here appear to have experienced, but that's what I have experienced: this edition does not last as long as the EDT. It could be a batch thing, but I got a better performance out of my EDT that I got from this Limited Edition Parfum, both in terms of projection and longevity. It's still very good with this edition, especially the longevity. But this does not project as much. It's a better scent all around, but not as potent (at least in my experience).Supremacy NOI is closer to Hacivat but almost ruined Hacivat for me because SNOI is incapable of balancing the moss. The opening of Silver is even fishy.
