You get a launcher that you must press the top button down on, then push your spinner into and turn, so you are in essence winding the spinner up. You need to use the launcher to charge up each top by spinning and twisting it, and then you can place each one on top of each other – but it’s harder than it sounds and takes concentration and skill! Annoyingly the toy didn’t come with any instructions, so it took us a while to work out how to use it! Fortunately with the help of some videos we realised that you need to push the grey launcher against the spinning tops and twist around several times to ‘wind-up’ the spinners.
