About this deal

Sahlin, Eva (13 August 2009). "Sparks "The Seduction Of Ingmar Bergman" – världspremiär i Radioteatern". Sveriges Radio . Retrieved 18 August 2015.

Reynolds, Simon (2009). Totally Wired: Post-Punk Interviews and Overviews. Faber and Faber. ISBN 978-0571235490. Sparks Plagiarism (1997)–The only truly terrible Sparks album and that is all I have to say on the matter.Sparks Exotic Creatures Of The Deep (2008)–“I hope it’s just your laugh that is infectious” in the emotional rollercoaster of Good Morning is just one of any number of great lyrics on this, and Lighten Up, Morrissey gets unwittingly funnier and funnier by the day as the former Smiths frontman progresses his journey beyond total arsehole. Their music was played at every party, bush bash, and camp fire you would go to": Fully Completely by The Tragically Hip - Album Of The Week Club review Patterson, Dagmar (15 July 2007). "Interview: Erasure's Vince Clarke". thewigfitsallheads.com . Retrieved 1 August 2017. The first record I bought was 'This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both of Us' by Sparks. ... I played it over and over and over again.

Plamen Agov: Completely unknown group for me. Now, listening to the album Kimono My House, I’m not saying it is so bad but somehow the music is not attractive. I guess it was mostly the colourful, extravagant album cover art that grabbed the attention of the youngsters of the 70’s. Chelsea: #1 in Heavenwas the first Sparks album I got, but Propaganda was the first one I could listen to all the way through. I understand why KMH is considered a tour de force — there was nothing quite like it before — but there are some big dead spots on Side 2. With Propaganda it took me a few listens to figure out that the pacing of this album isn’t quite what it should be. Not all the ballads work the way they should (I always skip over “Thanks But No Thanks”), and the B-sides on this one are so great I wish they’d made the cut. What amazes me is that this one was more or less tossed off after KMH, and if memory serves a lot of this is songs that didn’t make the cut for the previous record…but the quality is really, really high. Halfnelson/Sparks Halfnelson/Sparks (1971)–Originally recorded and released under the name Halfnelson, and produced by Todd Rundgren, there’s a very strong run of High C, Fletcher Honorama, Simple Ballet and Slowboat in the middle of this album, but you can see why, aside from single Wonder Girl, it didn’t make much of a huge breakthrough at the time. Beatles-esque, Elton John-esque, Roxy-esque, sounding like quite a lot of things and not quite like anything else at the same time, but not quite Sparks yet.In 2009 the band played two consecutive nights at The Forum on 20 and 21 March. They played Exotic Creatures of the Deep in its entirety at both gigs, followed by Kimono My House in its entirety on the first night and No. 1 in Heaven in its entirety on the second night. Filename Z:\OdW\Sparks\1993 - The Heaven Collection (473515 2)\Sparks - The Heaven Collection (473515 2).wav Fun Listen, Even If You Don't End Up Liking It I’m usually not a big glam person, but this album is… intriguing, to say the least. It has a very absurd sense of humor & a light-hearted vibe that kept me invested. It’s ostentatious and even maddening at times, but there’s no faulting the ambition”: XTC’s The Big Express Sefton, Max (4 December 2013). "Live review: Sparks at The Arches, 25 November 2013". Ravechild . Retrieved 18 August 2015.
