About this deal

Follow this guide from arduino.cc about 'Updating the Atmega8U2 and 16U2 on an Uno or Mega2560 using DFU' but rather than using ' Arduino-usbserial-uno.hex' use the attched ' Arduino-keyboard-0.3.hex ' If you feel like firing up your old games again with a shiny higher resolution, we have a guide explaining how to play PS2 games on your computer. Now would be a great time to revisit some of the classics, such as the best PlayStation 2 RPGs of all time. PS1 and PS2 controllers are pretty much identical. They both use the same serial interface, which is why a direct conversion to USB isn't possible (like it is with an X-Box controller, since it uses a rearranged USB interface).

While the link with video game piracy makes people think that playing games via emulators is illegal, that isn't the case. As long as you actually own the games, you're free to use emulators and ROMs. So after trying a basic rewiring it didn't work so there has to be some conversion going on but what? The puzzling thing is going from USB to PS/2 works but going the other way doesn't work. Why? You seem pretty adept, especially if you want to write your own HID driver. But here are some thoughts.Detected as a Digital controller with the Left and Right buttons continuously pressed. The strum bar is only mapped to one button, regardless of the strumming direction. Just some helpful stuff: You're - You are, Your - Your car, They're - They are , Their - Their car, There - Over there.

You'll need the same PlayStation 2 to USB dongle that you need to plug in a controller. Simply plug the dongle into the adapter, plug that into your PC, and you'll be able to use the remote with your PC. If your PS2 DVD remote is otherwise going to waste, this is a nice way to make use of it. I have a cheap USB to playstation 1 / 2 adapter that I was trying to get working using some drivers.

EDIT - Actually I have a PC gamepad controller from a while ago, which worked fine until I plugged it into a front panel USB port that was wired up wrongly inside the PC, now when I plug it in it says device not recognised Other Retro Controllers usually need adapters, unless you get updated USB versions of them. Most adapters should use standard XInput and DirectInput connections and should be configurable in Steam and any of the apps below. I know you can buy the adapters, and I have seen guides to convert it to gameport, but I am looking for a wiring diagram of Playstation 2 controller to PC USB WOW im doing sorta college (its not really here but here its more or less the equal) on electricity but i just started so i have little idea. That look likes the chip inside of a USB controller which i would have to hook up the the pins on the controller but 2 things....
