P5R Steelbook Edition or Ultimate Edition? Should I go for the P5R Steelbook Edition or Ultimate Edition?

This is the 4th time I’m buying Persona 5. But I really wanted to have it for the Switch after so much fan demand.Finally the great Persona series makes it way to the Switch with Persona 5 Royal! This game is an JRPG delight and the launch editions comes with a great steelbook that looks great on the Switch shelf! Though the overall schedule is a lot more forgiving than 3's, so if you want to prioritize getting the ones you need that shouldn't be an issue at all. You might need a guide if you want to max out every one of them on one playthrough (but even then, you do have some wiggle room) but in terms of what impacts the ending there's not really anything to worry about. Added a 3rd semester with new palace. Contains 20-30 hours to gameplay. Revolves around Kasumi (new redhead in trailers) Glad the port is excellent. Maybe… maybe… I’ll get through the game one day on Switch. It’s just such a long game… I just wanted confirmation from ya’ll Should I get the normal version of persona 5 royal or the steelbook version since I think that the steelbook version is superior. But is there any difference from the steelbook version from the normal version other than other box art visual.

I'm a newcomer to the franchise, and I know a bit of Persona from anime clips and viewing the manga's. I want to play the games some time down the road. The quality of life improvements from P5 are amazing. I havent finished the game yet but the new story and character stuff added so far is fantastic. P5R is definitely the definitive way to play Persona. 10/10 game. Persona 5 Royal is a highly lauded JRPG with over 100 hours of gameplay. You play as a high school student who does normal teenager things during the day (he attends school, socializes with friends, etc.) but goes on heroic adventures at night. Finally, Vooks awarded the game a 9/10 and highlighted the gameplay and presentation, but stated that the game is "too damn long" (we respectfully disagree): Basically a director's cut of Persona 5 with tons of additions and quality of life improvements and gameplay tweaks similar to Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 FES. If you don't finish three specific ones before particular dates then you get the original ending, if you do then you move on to the new semester after the game would have ended.
