The oven - Omnia

I put the cover on, turned the heat to low/medium, and waited with fingers crossed for approximately 20 minutes. Biscuits The Omnia has an ergonomic design, and although it’s just made up from three pieces it’s really versatile. Because you are sitting it on top of your single burner there is no installation. You get three pieces in the box; an aluminium food holder, a steel base plate, and an aluminium lid. The Design

no, cooked from raw.. but par boil would have been better I think .. shorten the cooking time.. they were on for 90 mins .. She was so excited when she called me over stating that it’s come out “amazing” and wow!, it really did look amazing! Rather than bake a single loaf I prefer to bake 8 rolls which then all touch and join up with each other during the prove/bake. The base and body work similarly to a double boiler. The burner directly heats the base, which warms the air gap between the base and the body. This air gap then provides gentle, indirect heat to the bottom of the body. Guess what? They could not tell the difference. My experiment was a complete success, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to make these perfect biscuits on our next camping trip. Muffins

Yes, it’s a little strange to bake without a thermostat to know that it’s at the right temperature, and it will take a little experimentation to know the best settings on your stove.
