About this deal

Marshall’s latest speaker has improved on its predecessor, the most noticeable difference being the Kilburn II’s ability to project sound around the room – thanks to its rear-firing tweeters. There’s some serious amplification onboard too, with 2x 15W going to a pair of full range drivers, and 10W for the tweeter. In addition to Bluetooth v5.0, there’s a 35mm line input. You wanted the best, you got the best! The Woburn II is the best Marshall speaker if you’re looking for an all-in-one. It’s big and heavy (just how we like it) at 8.55kg, taking no prisoners at full volume. Inside the huge cabinet lurk a woofer and dual tweeter array, powered by 50W and 2x 15W amps respectively.

Next, the 3.5mm input or male connector lets the MP3 players or even computer sound cards connect. Also, a double-ended cable is present. Better still, the Kilburn II allows two devices to simultaneously connect to the speaker. If you live in a shared household, it’s a great way of sharing the speaker. As ever, when buying a portable wireless speaker you should consider battery life. Longer playtime is better, but also consider how fast it charges - you don’t want to be waiting around forever to start cranking the tunes. Many modern speakers offer fast charging, whereby you can tease a good few hours out of your speaker with just 20 minutes plugged into the wall. The Tufton is the headliner of Marshall’s portable line. Long and hefty at 4.9kg, with a guitar-strap carry handle, it’s not something you might easily tout about town, but with 20 hour battery life and IPX2 water resistance, it’s perfectly suited to a picnic on Hergest Ridge. For portability, the Tufton comes with a faux-leather guitar strap-inspired handle, with a plush red velvet underside and luxurious gold screws holding it in place. It’s not the lightest portable speaker we’ve tested, weighing in at just over 4.5kg / 10lbs, but it’s not so heavy that you’d struggle to get it from your car to a picnic spot – just don’t expect to comfortably carry the Tufton around all day at a festival. The control plate at the top has been cleaned up a little. There are just three knobs – one each for volume, bass and treble. Besides that, there’s only a Bluetooth pairing button and a handy battery gauge. It’s a lot neater than the previous Marshall Kilburn, although I’ll miss the chunky power toggle; that’s built into the ‘zero’ position of the volume knob. The bass and treble knobs work best at closer to the maximum level. There are levels from 0 to 10. And there is not much noticeable difference between the maximum and close to maximum.

The oscillating synths came through with sparkle and clarity, while the bass was rich and thumping, although it did feel a bit muddy at times.

This Bluetooth technology is apdex, ensuring you can connect from 20 to 30 feet, almost 10 meters. Still the crispiness and sharpness in the sound. Also, the bigger bother Kilburn couldn’t offer this kind of high-level sound. There is a sharp difference between them, and the winner is, of course, Kilburn II. The larger cabinet opens the doors to a more robust performance. 50W goes straight to the woofer, with 2x15W servicing the tweeters. The result is a suitably room-filling performance. This Bluetooth speaker can serve at the best rate for the homies. Since it provides so good quality sound with the exciting features. If anyone wants to place it on the coffee table, or a balcony, in the bedroom beside the windows, or whatever they want. This speaker can serve so well.

The fact that the trebles didn’t sound particularly brilliant and somewhat washed out in the audition is especially noticeable indoors. The Kilburn sounds bigger than it is with its Blumlein stereophony with a certain rear sound radiation, but it is still not a room sound miracle. Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. See how we test. But reviewing about them I added above can help you to choose which is suitable for you. But still highlighting the difference between can help you with the great one. Marshall Kilburn II VS Stanmore | Ports A Bluetooth speaker perfectly fitted for home with a premium quality breathtaking sound is no more a dream. With the Marshall Stanmore, a fantastic Bluetooth speaker, you can full fill all your desires. You even get IPX2 water resistance, making the Kilburn II resistant to the occasional splash of water. There’s also a leather carrying handle with red felt underlining that makes it convenient to carry the speaker around. On the subject of portability,… In a single charge, it has the capability of providing a run time of 20 hours. And within 2.5 hours, it fully charged. I have reviewed significantly fewer speakers of this compact size, and price range can provide such big battery life.

The sound and bass are so accurate and detailed you can hear and understand every single detail. The original from the singer reflects here with the speaker gives the most realistic sound. This is the comparison between two popular brands Sonos and Marshall. Sonos Move and Marshall Kilburn 2, both are good speakers and has great sound quality. Both speakers have different features and design-wise also both are totally different. There is a huge price gap between both speakers. This detailed review comparison will make it easy for you to decide that which is suitable and best for you. You will definitely get the clear idea that which speaker should you buy. In addition to basic wireless connectivity, consider what physical inputs are on offer, so that you can hook up a physical source like one of the best phones for music. But that’s where the similarities stop. The new speaker is louder and clearer, has a rear-firing speaker for room-filling sound, and uses Bluetooth 5.0 aptX for wireless CD-quality transmission. To add a cherry on the cake, it’s also IPX2-rated, meaning it’s resistant to dripping water. However, all these features come at a price: it’s dearer than its already-expensive predecessor. If you’re buying a Marshall speaker, no matter the size, you’ll want to revel in the marque’s signature sound - that rough-edged tonality to guitars, the sense that you’re teetering on distortion when you really push the volume - and perhaps equally important, you’ll want to own that classic Marshall look. This type of tweeters, driver, or woofers most of the competitor speakers don’t contain. For this, it is highly capable of providing a crazy sound system all over the house.
