As with education, the team discovered a significantly positive effect of parental genetic diversity on the height of the offspring using data from the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS), a large-scale household survey covering 12 Chinese provinces. This held true even when other factors, including the height of the parents, was accounted for.
