There is something truly special about this fragrance. It is intoxicating and not overly sweet, a perfect blend of bittersweet berries, fresh roses and woods. Leathery, woody, smoky and superbly balanced - the patchouli enhances the leather which in turn complements the Nootka Cypress - the unique botanical extract (quite unlike any other cypress I've encountered) that inspired Morillas to create this composition. The same opinion I have with for example Penhaligon’s Vaara which is purely a woman’s perfume, no matter what Penhaligon’s marketing team would like you to believe. The atomizer shoots narrow and far. Overall, I quite like the presentation, and for a designer release, it stands out from most of the fragrances found in my fragrance collection. My Experience With Perfume Once in a while, you are blessed with a fragrance that does not seek to maintain the status quo. Gucci Guilty Absolute is one of these fragrances. Longevity is fairly impressive, 6 hr+, and lingers after shower. I love and enjoy perfumes that give good drydowns, so this is for me!It is a dark, slightly vulgar (in expensive way) fragrance with notes of rose, patchouli and some woods and grass. It is a bit sour to my taste, that's where the "body odour" feeling comes in. I bought a bottle of this today after extensive testing. I admit, I am a bit of a niche snob (sorry!), but credit where it's due....

I received compliments all 3 days I wore it so far, and saw quite few times people were sniffing air around me, and their facial expressions clearly indicated they liking it. Zero negative reactions. I think people who had bad comments oversprayed it. I had 4 spits, one behind each ear and one on the bend of each arm. Honestly this one may even beat Shuhrah Pour Homme Rasasi in brute strength. I love the high class leather smell here, but I felt like “the cologne guy” all day, lol. I just don’t see how in the world anybody can vote this as “moderate” strength. You guys are crazy. Wow, this is a very strong fragrance. The scent is overwhelmingly woody, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. The woody notes are very realistic and perhaps some of the most evocative I've smelled. It's too woody for me personally, but someone looking for an antique wood smell would enjoy this.

This is masterpiece. Imagine the neandertal who killed an animal and stripped the skin off to protect himself from cold and rain. This is how it smells to me. I have never worn it as it is unpleasant for most of people, but I like to spray it from time to time to see what human can make from ingredients.
