Glenkinchie,was recently named as ‘ The Garden Distillery’, due to its beautiful new garden development; fruits of a vision of planting to echo the land and greenery surrounding the distillery in the midst of East Lothian. Inspired by the local wild flowers and grasses the distillery gardens now include the installation of beehives, bat houses, bug boxes, and plantings to attract, feed, and shelter insect pollinators, birds and other creatures.I'm whiskey/whisky/bourbon layman, but am more well versed with cognac and rums, with Doorly's 12 being my favourite.
