About this deal

Memory foam may be common in higher-end mattresses, but who would’ve thought to add it to one of the best lapdesks? The clever folks over at Sofia + Sam, it would seem! If you’re looking for the best all-in-one gaming lapboard, congratulations — you’ve found it! The bad news? Getting your hands on one won’t be so easy, as the Razer Turret is one of the most expensive options on the market. As the name implies, LapGear’s Deluxe Lapdesk is an outstanding multi-purpose solution for kids, teens, and adults alike. When it comes to gaming, it will hold your 15-inch and under laptop just fine, with plenty of extra room for your mouse and other small accessories. While the product comes fitted with a wrist wrest, it’s not nearly as large as some of the other competitors on this list. While this might not be an issue for some gamers, it’s critical to note that the Razer Turret Mechanical can feel a bit compact . While it’s not optimized for comfortable gaming, the LapGear lap desk will fit laptops up to 15.6 inches, not to mention most mice and smartphones. The top comes in your choice of six colors and designs (including woodgrain and faux marble), and it has a built-in mousepad and phone slot. The bottom is lined with double bolster cushions that conform to your legs so you stay comfortable while working, watching, writing, or eating. Currently, it has an overall 4.7-star rating.

One reviewer wrote: “It's exactly what I needed. I work from home a few days a week now and I just wasn't comfortable at the table with my laptop. With this, I can sit for hours on the couch and get work done. It has a nice spot for a portable mouse and a very convenient slot for a cell phone.” One reviewer wrote: “Great to use on the couch for PC gaming, or just use the top in a recliner as a lapboard. I use it daily and it's worth the money.” Designed with the single focus of bringing the PC gaming experience right to the couch, the Razer Turret consists of a fully-fledged PC gaming keyboard and a highly precise gaming mouse.Fortunately, it comes with everything you need to play, right out of the box. This includes essential gaming peripherals like a wireless RGB keyboard and a mouse with ~50 hours of battery life. And these aren’t just throw-ins, either. The Turret Keyboard features Razer’s legendary mechanical switches, while the Turret Mouse boasts a pro-grade 16,000 DPI 5G optical sensor. So, once it’s all unboxed and set up, what’s it like to actually game on the Couchmaster Cycon? For me, the experience was awesome. I’d connected my PC up to my 65” 4K TV, had my favorite keyboard and mouse working perfectly with no perceptible lag, and I was playing PC games in a totally relaxed position. Next on our list of best lapdesks is the CYBOT, which is yet another high-quality option from Couchmaster. Unlike the CYCON listed earlier (#2 on our list), this model ditches the standalone keyboard tray in favor of a laptop tray and ventilation grille! It’s the age-old gaming dilemma: the desk or the couch? You know you should probably sit at the desk, but that big comfy gaming couch is calling to you, and it’s so easy to hook your PC or gaming system up to your big screen TV. Good news! Gaming lapboards give you the perfect excuse to play right from your bed or couch. They’re also supremely portable devices if you plan on connecting your keyboard or mouse to a computer at a different location.

Here we have the best gaming lapdesks and lapboards compiled for you in an easy-to-browse comparison table. Image It’s also worth mentioning that both the PS4 and Xbox One now support keyboard and mouse inputs, meaning a product like the Couchmaster Cycon could also aid console gamers in new titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. 1. The overall best couch gaming desk

Couchmaster® CYCON is an elegant solution to gaming on the sofa - and certainly the best I have seen!" It’s also an excellent system if you currently use wired peripheral devices. There is an internal space that helps you avoid wire issues and reduce cord-related clutter. Razer also has another Turret model that is popular with gamers around the world. As one of the most prominent producers of gaming-specific computers and hardware, it’s no surprise that Razer has multiple options. This is the Gaming-Grade Mouse version of the product. Cooler Master is known for their exceptional gaming gear, and the NotePal X3 is no exception. As one of the best lapdesks, this exceptional model boasts a mesh surface and 200mm fan that work together to provide an exceptionally chill surface for your gaming laptop. Just slide the NotePal’s USB cable into one of the ports on your laptop, turn on the fan, and crank those graphics up to 11 without worrying about performance dips due to overheating! While I have loved my time with the Couchmaster Cycon, I do have a few complaints. First, there are the screws which prevent access to the Lapboard’s USB 3.0 hub. These make swapping components in and out a little more inconvenient than I feel is necessary. Accessing this without needing the (provided) screwdriver would be a lot better.
