Another is a 2012 Japanese adult animated horror television series produced by P.A. Works and directed by Tsutomu Mizushima that aired twelve episodes from 10 January to 27 March 2012. [1] Based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Yukito Ayatsuji, the series is set in 1998 and focuses on a boy named Kōichi Sakakibara who, upon transferring into Yomiyama Middle School and meeting the curious Mei Misaki, finds himself in a mystery revolving around students and people related to his class facing gruesome and senseless deaths. Another was directed by Tsutomu Mizushima and produced by P.A. Works, with character designs by Yuriko Ishii, the chief animation director of the series, based on Noizi Ito's original concepts for the novel. He's already dead before a boat runs him over. The ominous rumors revolve around a former student of the class 3-3. However, no one will share the full details of the grim event with Kouichi. Engrossed in the curse that plagues his class, Kouichi sets out to discover its connection to his new friend. As a series of tragedies arise around them, it is now up to Kouichi, Mei, and their classmates to unravel the eerie mystery—but doing so will come at a hefty price.

Episodes

They are later seen at the Mikami family grave together on a sunny, warm day. The grave lists both Ritsuko, Kouichi's mother, and Reiko as deceased. Kouichi and Mei then talk about how they are the only ones to remember Mikami-sensei. They are also the only ones able to see her in the photo they took outside of the inn. Kouichi and Mei walk together, Kouichi asking why she doesn't answer her phone when he calls. Mei tells him that after the incident at the inn she threw her phone into the river because she hates those devices. She also mentions that her mother will without a doubt get her a new cell phone soon. Kouichi then asks if he may call her sometimes when she gets her new phone. She smiles and replies, "Sure." Then Kouchi asks if it is all over, with all the senseless death and Mei responds with a reassuring smile. Summary: A mountain spirit is strangely attracted to the club members of the Roman club in the high school ne... I don't dislike rain. My favourite is the cold rain that falls in midwinter, just before it turns into snow." Quiet and more than a little mysterious, Mei is the strange girl that Kouichi meets one late night at the hospital. This encounter, as well as the strange circumstances surrounding her while at school, prompts Kouichi to try to get to know her. In the process, this gets him involved in uncovering the truth behind class 3-3's dark secret.
