Leather boot care is a little different from rubber boots. Many brands like Dubarry, which produce rubber boots, also have excellent care kits that you can buy and apply to the boots when needed. The Wellie Washer is a unique design, which has transformed the cleaning and disinfecting of Wellington boots, riding boots and work boots. Used with the hosepipe connection and the caps removed, clean fresh water is fed into the wellie washer via a sprinkler. This washes the boots as well as keeping the five brushes clean. Any debris, mud, etc, is liquefied and allowed to flow out of the holes at the base. The Wellie Washer can also be used as a standalone unit, where a water connection is not required or is perhaps out of reach. Simply fill the unit with water and leave the access caps in place. Great product but you have replaced a good sturdy metal handle with a cheap plastic flimsy version. Hope it stands the test of time otherwise a great product, otherwise a brilliant idea and works well The boots will also keep in better shape, especially after extended periods of time, if boot trees are inserted into them.
