About this deal

My 13-inch MacBook Pro 2020 went from 1% to 48% in 30 minutes using the Ugreen charger. This is slightly more than what I got using the standard 61W charger supplied with the MacBook. Notably, the 13-inch MacBook Pro can only receive a charge at a maximum rate of 61W (you can find out your MacBook’s maximum supported power input on the bottom case near the display hinge). Therefore, the Ugreen charger’s full capability could not be utilized. Universal Compatibility: Compatible with a wide range of devices including MacBook, iPhone, Samsung, and more. Fnally, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was the slowest of the lot. While it is officially limited to 25W charging, it went from 42% to 66% in 30 minutes, indicating much slower charging. The foldable also got considerably hot, which may have led to slower charging. Ports USB C Charger: Supports multiple fast charge protocols for simultaneous charging of 4 devices at full speed. in-1 Multiport Charger: 3 USB C ports and 1 USB A port provide 100W to phones, tablets, laptops, and more.

But Samsung is the probable culprit here, as Andy Boxall, senior mobile writer at Digital Trends, noted in his review of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. As seen during his review, the difference between a 25W Samsung charger and one rated for 45W is only marginal. In my testing, charging with the Ugreen charger displays “super fast charging” on the phone, while using any other charger shows only “fast charging.”

High-Speed 100W USB C Charging Station: Charges MacBook Air M2 and two 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops simultaneously. Also does this suffer from the common GaN issue where the charger lowers the output to the 1st port if a cable is plugged into a 2nd/3rd/4th port (with no device connected to the other end)?

T5/T7 Touch, WD My Passport, Seagate BarraCuda Fast SSD, Pioneer USB C Portable SSD, ADATA SE800, LaCie Mobile SSD, etc. Lenovo is one of the best laptop brands you can buy from at the moment. While the Lenovo 14w Gen 2 AMD certainly isn't pushing the boundaries with performance speeds, it's functional. It has an AMD 3015e processor along with 4GB of memory so it's pretty slow but will at least run Windows 11 Pro. We are, however, pleased to see that there's 128GB of SSD storage. Many laptops in this price range use eMMC storage which is much slower so it's good to see something a little speedier here. But in many cases, there's still a lingering need for USB-A to charge older devices, and that's where Ugreen's 4-in-1 100W GaN X Fast Charger comes in handy. I have two MacBook Pros. One is a newer design with an M1 chip and better cooling. The other is a 2019 Intel that has cooling problems. Unfortunately, the 2019 one is a work machine that I use more heavily.

Galaxy S23/S22 Ultra/S21+/S21 FE/Note 10/Note 10 Plus/Note 9, Huawei P50/P40/P30, Pixel 7/6 Pro/5/4, etc. Ugreen claims that this means it can charge an iPhone 13 to 60% in 30 minutes or fully charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro in 1.5 hours, and thanks to the latest GaN chipset, it's three times faster than Apple's standard iPhone charger. Those claims stood up to scrutiny in my tests, although the big caveat here of course is that they only apply when one device is plugged into the charger and in the relevant port for its power requirements. Complete Safety & Reliability: Dynamic Temperature Sensors and intelligent PMW chip ensure safe charging. The Galaxy S22 Ultra went from 18% to 60% in 30 minutes and took nearly 70 minutes to complete charging. Even though the Galaxy S22 Ultra supports fast charging at 45W, the charging speed does not appear dazzling, especially when we look at brands such as OnePlus and Xiaomi that already sell phones with much faster charging.

I need at least three different plugs (US, UK, EU, sometimes others). This needs an awkward and flimsy dongle. To test how much faster I can charge a smartphone, I used the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge— a phone that takes only 20 minutes to charge fully and comes with a 120W charger in its box. While it uses Xiaomi’s proprietary charging technology to refill the battery in less than 20 minutes, it also supports non-proprietary chargers with USB-PD at a maximum charging rate of 68W.During my testing, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge went from 10% to 100% in just 24 minutes when hooked to the GaN charger. This result is nothing but spectacular. MacRumors attracts a broad audience of both consumers and professionals interested in the latest technologies and products. We also boast an active community focused on purchasing decisions and technical aspects of the iPhone, iPod, iPad, and Mac platforms. and those are relatively more affordable than the Ugreen charger. But we cannot recommend them without testing them ourselves. How long with it last? in-1 Wireless Charging Station: Supports multiple fast charge protocols and Qi 15W wireless charging for 4 devices at full speed.
