About this deal

There’s also something compelling about the simplicity of the Theragun Mini. You can get a great massage from just the one head attachment, and it’s incredibly simple to use and operate. The mini 1 wasn’t the quietest mini massage gun. Upon using the Mini 2, we personally felt it was a significant upgrade from its predecessor. Nevertheless, Therabody has done what many customers demanded – including more heads. What’s more important is that the device doesn’t feel like an upsell to bigger devices anymore. It can finally be considered a standalone mini. You can buy it as a starter device, not just a complementary Theragun. The gun itself comes charged and ready to go, encased in a triangular, zippered pouch. Beneath the case is the charger and a user manual. So does the new Theragun mini have enough juice? Yes, under normal usage, the battery should last you a few days. Is this the best battery performance among mini massage guns? No, it’s not. We believe Ekrin Bantam can give you twice the performance provided here.

Chargers - Therabody

Having compared it with other mini devices in the market, we found the current price point to be steep, making it likely the most expensive mini device out there. It has a tad less than 10mm amplitude but way more percussions to keep the intensity high and remain effective. This could be pretty frustrating if you’re already an avid user of a Therabody device and you’re just using the Theragun Mini for convenience because it’s so portable. Theragun Mini review: performance After testing this new device, we can say that it’s somewhat worth its weight in gold, despite a few caveats. In our opinion, after extensively testing both, it provides better value for money than its predecessor.

We noticed the battery drains faster when pressure is applied. The speed gear used also impacts the time on battery, just not as much as applying pressure. If you’re looking for a portable massage gun that you can take anywhere and everywhere, the Theragun Mini is a great buy. Effortless to use, sturdy, and with a wealth of great technology behind it, the Mini is an investment that will give you years of great service. The big draw with the Theragun Mini is its portability. You can pop it in your gym bag, hand luggage, or even your purse without it taking up too much space. It was by far the most portable massage gun we tested, even compared to the lightweight Hypervolt Go. It’s also very sturdy, so you don’t need to worry about it being jostled around in your bag. The Theragun Mini has three speeds with a maximum PPM of 2400 PPM. It features a lower amplitude than its stable mate, the Theragun Pro, offering 12mm in comparison to the Pro’s 16mm. This lower amplitude may disappoint Theragun lovers who want a similar experience to the Pro but in a portable design.

Theragun mini (1st Gen Questions and Answers: Therabody Theragun mini (1st Gen

As an owner of both the Mini 2.0 and the Bantam, I have to disagree with this article just a bit. I find the increased amplitude of the Mini 2.0 to be more effective than the increased stall force and percussion of the Bantam. For starters, compared to mini 1, mini 2 looks like a true mini. Yes, the mini 1 was small and compact, but calling it a true mini would’ve been an exaggeration. The mini 2 looks different. We found the Mini 2’s sound to be similar to the Theragun Pro Gen 5 from our previous testing. Based on our usage, we believe there is potential for further noise reduction, but this is a positive step forward. The new mini (first photo) noise level is about 1 dB lower than the mini 1’s. Ekrin Bantam is probably the best Theragun mini alternative. It has about the same features and then some. The Bantam is more suited to a more intensive massage than the mini 2. For an aggressive massage, you can press it harder against the muscle (even large muscle groups). Theragun mini 2 feels more like it’s meant to glide over the skin without applying pressure.

The Theragun Mini is easy to operate. There is only one button on the device; Long press it to turn the massager on which then will start vibrating at 1,750 strokes per minute (SPM). Press it once more to make it go faster (2,100 SPM) and once more to make it go the fastest (2,400 SPM). After direct comparison through personal usage, we find ourselves favoring the performance and ergonomic design of the Ekrin Bantam. More on that in a minute. Is Theragun Mini Worth it? We think YES. From our perspective as long-term users of various devices, the one-year warranty was a disappointment as we value longer warranty periods. Also - trying to figure out - does the Device or the charger detect when the batt is complete and stops the charge? The 'official' barrel charger that comes with the device is labeled as a power supply. Mini 1 has a 12mm amplitude. This is the highest among mini guns. Nothing has changed with mini 2. It also has a 12mm stroke length. 12mm amplitude is confirmed. No other mini come close.

June 5, 2023 Made updates to better demonstrate that we had a first-hand experience with Theragun Mini G2 and G1 (Author: Luke) Some of the noteworthy accessories include the Duo-adapter (it saves time) and Supersoft attachment refills (just the top, foamy part). The Duo Adapter and Supersoft attachment are the best additions worth buying for the mini.If you like the Therabody brand, and you have a bigger budget, why not take a look at the Theragun Pro? With six attachment heads, a carry case, and the full experience of the Bluetooth-connected Therabody app, it’s a massage gun that’s hard to beat. The main reason for this was, while it felt good to hold it for a short while, holding it for longer strained the arm. You had to keep readjusting your grip from time to time.
