Yep, at the ripe age of 24 I'm single and O-less. And to top it all off, with a shiny cherry, I'm a first grade teacher.
I loved the story of awkward 1st grade teacher Olivia Olander who lives in Ontario Oregon, Who also just happens to have never had the big O. Yep, that's right. At the age of 24, Olivia finds herself single with no future prospects of losing her V card after a string of bad blind dates. That is until she meets the hunky officer Oren O'Brien. I don't know. Maybe 2001 was a shitty confusing time for female sexuality and I'm just not remembering it all that well because that was 11 years ago and I was in high school. But that doesn't really change the fact that this book kind of blows.Appendix VI - How to Get in Touch with A.A., from the Fourth edition of the Big Book, "Alcoholics Anonymous," the basic text of A.A. in American Sign Language (ASL). It decides that it was happier when searching for the missing piece than actually having it. So it gently puts the piece down, and continues searching happily.
Wow, HJ Bellus hit the mark with this one. I laughed out loud through most of Olivia's story and I must say, The Big O is now one of my favorite RomCom books. So if you are looking for a lighthearted romantic comedy that weaves layers of charm, family, friendship, a horny Yorkie, Mr. Lady Boner cop, and a 24 year old virgin who finally gets The BIG O then I highly recommend you to read this book. All there is left to say, thank you HJ Bellus for another amazing story that is filled with toe-curling kisses, tender moments, and of course that infamous letter O. I think every women should read this! Such an entertaining and enlightening book. In a world where the orgasm gap is still bigger than ever, this book offers golden nuggets of advice and positive talk, helping women to dispel the sex negative attitudes that society has bestowed upon them. Although, it was written from a heterosexual point of view, I felt like most of the information is applicable for us bisexuals too.
