About this deal

I like this book because I love bugs. I rated it 3 because most of the facts I already knew but some of the facts where intesting like dragon flys flash their light as a greeting.

The Notebook of Bugs is a Notebook Companion™ to The Big Book of Bugs by Yuval Zommer, sold separately. A beautifully illustrated, informative book for children introducing them to bugs that creep, crawl, bite, fly, and more From moths and beetles to worms and spiders, the world is crawling with fascinating bugs. The Big Book of Bugs is the first fact-filled book for children to explore the vast array of creepy-crawlies that share our Earth. The text is engaging and informative while still being manageable for young audiences. My five-year-old was perfectly attentive while my eight-year-old still found it absorbing and even I learned a few things. Why do bees make honey? How do spiders spin their webs? Which is the smartest bug? Its question like these keep you or your child up at night, this book on the creepy-crawly world of minibeasts is for you! The Big Book Series Notebook Companions are best suited to grades 3 and up due to the writing component of notebooking. But what if you have younger children you’d like to include in your studies? I liked this book because it gives you lots of facts about how each bug is important to the world and why humans need different insects. And also This colorful, creatively illustrated volume, with in-depth explorations of bugs habitats and habits, gives you access to the various and entertaining ways in which bugs and people affect each other's lives.

The illustrations here are delightful. I love that they are fairly accurate representations of the various insects, have a slight hint of whimsy, and don't make the critters too scary looking -- for those of us still easing into our appreciation of bugs, this is really helpful! ;-) Meet all kinds of flying, stinging, wriggling bugs from around the world in this first animal book to share with young children. This is an interesting book with beautiful illustrations. I have learnt a lot about bugs from this book. I would recommend this book to someone who wants to learn about bugs. They’ll learn about both common and strange insects from around the world, find out why we couldn’t live without some bugs, discover various families of bugs, and much more.
