Installing the Pure Highway 600 is relatively simple. You need a 12V accessory or USB outlet to power the antenna, along with an existing car audio system. This needs to have either an aux input or FM radio – the Pure Highway 600 transmits over both, although the aux option provides better audio quality. It has worked perfectly for 8 months then 2 weeks ago it all went wrong. The controller is lit and saying not connected to aerial. I have tried to connect by pressing the 3 buttons but it just says connecting but never does. None of the buttons respond on the controller and my phone was disconnected and says that I need an app to connect. The Pure Go app says that it is too old for my phone. Digital radio plays all the time. Good in high strength signal areas, but it tends to become a little patchy outside of densely populated areas. The Pure Go application does not support cached music (Music on demand stored locally on your mobile device), so a data connection is needed. What is the Go button? Once all wired up, you simply switch on the car, fire up your existing radio, select aux-in as the source, switch on the Pure Highway controller, follow the start-up prompts and choose your radio station from the display.
