At first, to be honest, I was skeptical of the app that works with the bassinet thinking there wouldn’t be any need for me to use it when I could easily change the settings on the bassinet itself, however, I was very wrong. Using the app allows me to change the settings easily from my phone without having to risk my son seeing me and waking him up. The app also has a timer to allow you to decide how long you want the motions, music, etc to last. For some babies the motion is only necessary to sooth to sleep while other times it might be more helpful to keep them asleep longer. The bassinet itself is also a great size, not too bulky, fits great into any space, and is easy to move as well. The storage basket at the bottom is a great way to store diapers, wipes, burp clothes, extra clothes, etc for those middle of then night feeds and changes without taking up even more space. The new 4moms app features an enhanced, streamlined design to effortlessly integrate 4moms products into your family’s lifestyle. With smart home technology, Bluetooth connectivity and remote operation via the handy 4Moms app, you can easily tailor each ride to meet your baby's changing needs. We think this bouncer would be particularly beneficial for parents who’s baby struggles to be put down, as this would allow some much-needed hands-free time.The mamaRoo has five different settings that mimic the soothing motions that seem to come naturally to people when they have a baby in their arms. The motion and sounds are controlled either via the hard buttons on the base of the unit or by the mobile app, which uses Bluetooth to control the seat. Large, easy-to-see buttons make it easier to change settings and power the seat on and off with your foot than previous models. (The buttons sit only a couple of inches off the ground, so using your foot feels fairly natural.)
