About this deal

Fujimoto strikes me as someone who is very in touch with himself and his emotions, and it shows in the way he expresses what he feels on paper. Yonkoma: The elementary school's newspaper strips takes the form of four panel comics; Fujino's are all gag comics, while Kyomoto's are all collections of scenery. I was hoping to see more development of the characters as we rarely got to see them encountering any obstacles to further improve themselves, however there'sHodgkins, Crystalyn (October 14, 2023). Watching as they find comfort and safety in one another is also portrayed beautifully, with Fujimoto utilising scenery to really convey the emotions that the characters are feeling.

Look Back - Read Chainsaw Man

In our transient life, we can only do so much. Will we end up with wishes about our past, about what we could have done differently? Of course. But sooner or later we must move on. This is a common theme, but in this work it’s expressed beautifully, not least because the story decided to portray what a person has already done as a source of motivation for the future. Comic Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. March 28, 2022. Archived from the original on March 28, 2022 . Retrieved March 28, 2022. I don't how much of this story is inspired by personal experience from Fujimoto. But it sure as hell made me wonder...Tatsuki Fujimoto ( Japanese: 藤本 タツキ, Hepburn: Fujimoto Tatsuki, born October 10, 1992, or 1993 [a]) is a Japanese manga artist, known for his works Fire Punch and Chainsaw Man. Tatsuki Fujimoto describes the one-shot as Koi wa Moumoku/Love Is Blind. There is no further explanation and I have no intention of explaining it. As the title suggests, love is blind. Love sure is blind and when Fujimoto writes something with that concept it goes beyond blind. This is the second one-shot of Fujimoto’s one-shot in “Jump plus”, following his pre-debut award-winning work Sasaki-Kun stopped the bullet. Unlike the dystopian setting of Fire Punch, this work is a high school student’s school romance with a faint romance in it.

Look Back (manga) - Wikipedia

Fujimoto illustrated the cover of the novels anthology 5-Minute Stories: An Unexpected End ( 5分で読める驚愕のラストの物語, Gofun de Yomeru Kyōgaku no Rasuto no Monogatari ), released on April 2, 2021. [40] Fujimoto participated as a guest judge at Shonen Jump+ 's Million Tag online reality show in July 2021. [41] [42] Like I said, it's simple yet amazing. The way this one-shot showed the main character's thoughts on her friend's death was incredibly realistic. Puting blame on herself, imagining a whole new path where her friend didn't die, overcome with grief. All of that was so well showed and I felt sadness after seeing the MC's imagination. The tankōbon volume sold 73,912 copies in its first week of release and 80,186 copies in the second, which placed it fourth and third, respectively, on Oricon's weekly manga chart. [12] [13]Story - The story is fairly simple, Fujino loves to draw for her school's newspaper, everyone in her class adores her art, then her teacher tells Fujino that another student would also like to submit a comic strip for her school's newspaper. Kyomoto, the new newspaper artist stuns the class as Fujino gets jealous since her arts is barely average compared to Kyomoto's. Soon both of them meet and pair up, writing manga together. The story isn't complicated at all and tells a story of two manga artists coming Nayuta is a girl predicted by wizards all over the world to be “the devil’s child who will bring destruction upon the world .” She was born with horns piercing the womb of her mother as predicted. She’s a girl with a weapon who crushes a rabbit cat and kills it. She speaks in a cruel tongue, unable to comprehend by others. Everything about her is unusual but even so, is she really the one who will destroy the world? Who would believe in such a prophecy in this day and age? This world is modern. However, because of the existence of weak magic, groups that believe in prophecy are always shouting “Kill the child of prophecy” on the street. In such an environment, Nayuta’s older brother Kenji has decided, “No matter what, I will protect Nayuta.” All the characters in the story are masterfully represented to be likeable and also relatable to many people going in the same path as them and how they are represented growing up just adds to the storytelling. The only problem I had is that the story wasnt longer because it almost felt like we were just getting to know the girls before the final act. The story is an emotional journey. It kinda leaves you heartbroken and satisfied at the same time, as with Fujimoto's other works.

This isn't really relevant to the plot, but a detail that makes it so Fujimoto's Author Avatars were born around the same time he was.Perhaps you will, like me, feel like this is as close as perfection as a one shot (or manga in general) can be. ok first of all, I don't remember when is the last time I got goosebumps this much. and it seems that those of you who are reading this review also don't want to know about my goosebumps records and maybe thinking "wtf is this broken grammar anonymous dude talking about", i hope u guys didn't.
