He was the first bird I built and the inspiration behind this whole project. He is also one of the worlds most recognised small birds. If LEGO CUUSOO think that they could create a set using a different bird from my substantial collection then I would be happy for them to use one of these.

I really enjoy matching the different colours and features of our beautiful feathered friends and I hope that one day anybody else can have the chance to build their own bird from LEGO.Bei mir steht es genau unter dem Monitor und ich kann es so jeden Tag stundenlang ansehen und mich freuen. The two birds are not completely identical. Build wise they are, but color wise one has more green and the other has more yellow/orange. You can adjust the pieces if you want them to be all of one color - I had enough extra chest pieces I could have done that. Unfortunately it didn't come with colors to change the type of lovebird to a Fischer or some other variety. Man kann es aber neben dem Valentins-Tag auch an anderen Tagen wie Geburtstag oder erster Jahrestag des Kennenlernens verschenken gut verschenken. Man bekommt dieses Set hier mit den 298 Teile im Moment für 11,99 (ich am 07.06.23 noch für 9,99€). Das "Lego 40522 Valentins-Turteltauben, Kinder zum Valentinstag-Basteln, als Tier-Spielzeug zum Bauen oder Deko" kam bei uns schnell und gut an (5 Tage).
