I’ve been using this product for the past two weeks along with a water cleanser and I can say that it cleanses the SPF/makeup off my face pretty well. My skin is prone to breakouts these days and I was looking for a better cleansing option than micellar water. It’s a real oldie: expressed directly from the seeds, the oil is used not for hundreds but thousands of years. According to The National Sunflower Association, there is evidencethat both the plant and its oil were used by American Indians in the area of Arizona and New Mexico about 3000 BC. Do the math: it's more than 5000 years – definitely an oldie.

Scent: The oil has a floral, sweet, tea-like scent which most likely comes from the Cananga Odorata Flower, a popular essential oil. All-in-one Cleansing Oil enriched with 94% pure plant oil and Calendula extract offers powerful removal for point makeup and sunscreen in just one step Macadamia nut oil - A highly emollient oil rich in oleic acid (50-67%) and a rare fatty acid called palmitoleic acid (12-25%). It gives the skin a soft, supple and "cushiony" feel. This oil has one of the best textures I’ve seen in a cleansing oil, not too light and not too oily. It performed well, removing all of my makeup during the first step of the double cleanse method, and it’s at a great price point! Highly recommend if you’re trying out new cleansing oils!Jojoba oil - a wax ester (chemically not a real oil), that's very similar to human sebum. It's uniquely excellent at helping the skin with its protective barrier and helping it to stay moisturized. Third, jojoba oil moisturizes the skin through a unique dual action:on the one hand, it mixes with sebum and forms a thin, non-greasy, semi-occlusive layer; on the other hand, it absorbs into the skin through pores and hair follicles thendiffuses into the intercellular spaces of the outer layer of the skin to make it soft and supple.

As I mentioned above, this product contains Jojoba seed oil and it has a low potential of clogging pores. The Cananga Odorata Flower Oil also can be sensitizing. I personally didn’t experience any irritating or clogged pores while using this since I follow up with a second cleanser (instructions below), but if you have sensitive skin make sure to patch test! Is the iUNIK cleansing oil good for oily skin? The velvety texture easily emulsifies on the skin with a subtle, almost nutty scent and is highly effective at removing dirt, oil, sunscreen and makeup. Skin is left soft, cleansed and hydrated. Cruelty-free. No artificial scents or dyes. Perfect for sensitive skin types.The golden yellow oil coming from the Macadamia nut, a native Australian nut. Similar to other plant oils, it's loaded with emollientand nourishing fatty acids. It's a high oleic acid oil ( 50-67% oleic acid and only 0-5% linoleic acid) that makes it very emollient and ideal for dry skin types (and less ideal for acne-prone skin). calendula and ylang ylang oils, this cleansing oil will ensure that your skin is clean and clear, and without any unwanted acne or inflammation. Take a small amount of the Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil and gently massage it onto your face, including areas with makeup or impurities.

Removes makeup (including waterproof mascara) well, without being overly drying. Faint fragrance. My only concern is that oil was leaking out from the pump after use. The leakage was worse using half a pump than a full pump, but still a lot of wasted product pooling around the cap. With a minimal and gentle formula, this oil is perfect for sensitive and irritated skin looking for a soothing and mild first cleanse. I’m a huge fan of cleansing balms and oils as a part of my double cleansing routine and so naturally, I’ve tried quite a lot out. This is one that I really enjoy the texture of and has one of the shortest ingredient lists out there which is awesome! A lightweight cleansing oil enriched with a moisturising blend of 6 nourishing plant oils to help melt away makeup and impurities in just one step! At first glance, it seems like your average emollient plant oil: it looks like an oil and it's nourishing and moisturizing to the skin but if we dig a bit deeper, it turns out that jojoba oil is really special and unique: technically - or rather chemically - it's not an oil but awax ester (and calling it an oil is kind of sloppy).iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil is a perfect solution for dull and dehydrated skin which requires soothing.
