When this happens there is always hot water available from the other taps in the house and the hot water tank is full of hot water. The boiler is new and 1 year old. The sink basin in the same bathroom runs hot water as expected. I took some temperature readings as recommended by Bristan with the combi-boiler set to 60deg C.
