About this deal

Can I use the bluetooth shutter button to connect to my Arduino and act as a bluetooth receiver to make a LED on/off from my phone? Instead of getting a bluetooth module for my arduino Reply c. Once you have Bluetooth open, select the device “AB Shutter 3” from the list of device options. You may need to wait a few seconds but it should soon say “Connected.”

Hello. I have a Sony Xperia Z3 mini. It cannot find the bluetooth of the remote, so I cant even pair it. The remote turns on just fine, but it wont appear in my phone, neither on my dad’s iphone 5. AB Bluetooth Remote Shutter For Android and iOS Review

I bought a "Bluetooth Remote Shutter". I'm able to connect and trust it from an RPI running Jessie Stretch. If your device is compatible, you might want to follow their recommended pairing steps listed on their owner's manual link. Just in case, the steps are here: Easy to set up, Easy to use So, I wonder if the device is actually sending all those keys or whether something in the rpi is running a "macro" on receipt of certain keyboard input. It's pretty easy to set keyboard shortcuts in the GUI- but how do we do it on the command line? Well, you can't. There's no way to tell a shell to run a program when a specific key has been pressed. f you don't care which button is pressed, you could do something similar to what you did with the dash: detect when a Bluetooth device with the correct identifier is paired with you. udev may help with that, maybe, I don't know. ReplyApparently, the "iphone" button also works for androind (I think it is the 'volume up' button but i'm not sure).
