The reason for this (at least as far as I understand) is that VAPORESSO never released a XROS 2 MINI when they released the XROS 2, and they didn’t want to release a XROS 2 MINI alongside the XROS 3. I suppose that it’s easier for marketing when both devices are the “3”. Reaching this point, I have realised that I can’t find any cons with the XROS 3 (or indeed Mini for what it is), it hasn’t got the bling or style I like in my vape gear but the simplicity and no-nonsense design still has a touch of elegance about it, but it’s the vape quality that the new pods produce that makes this kit one of Vaporesso’s finest and worthy of the upgrade.The improvements over the original, such as a better airflow, ergonomics, and the pleasing light make the old one redundant. It’s made of a toughened PCTG plastic and E-liquid levels are perfectly viewable through the clear pod window. The battery capacity of the XROS 3 MINI is still the same as the original at 1000mAh. This is also the same capacity as the XROS 3, so having the same battery capacity in a smaller device is great. Since this kit is inhale activated, you don’t have to deal with any buttons or menus. All just inhale on the mouthpiece and the device will create a moderate amount of vapour for an RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vape with a tight draw. You can also find MTL (Mouth To Lung) Xros pods sold separately, if you prefer a more discreet amount of vapour. The diamond pattern on the front of the XROS 3 MINI looks particularly high-end. It has a nice feel to it and also adds a little bit of extra grip to the device. Keeping my lips loosely parsed around the mouthpiece allows me to get a RDL draw, but it’s not my favorite way to RDL vape by a long shot.
