About this deal

Karen runs a fitness business with her fiance Ryan and his best friend Steff. Everything seems great her bootcamps are becoming a big hit and she's never been happier when being a personal trainer. Her fiance starts averting strange even Steff agrees. Her fiance's drinking, disappearing and sneaking around reach an all time high around the time Karen starts getting weird texts from a stranger who seems to be stalking her and claims to know what's going on with Ryan. Will I ever write a book set outside of Whitsborough Bay? Yes. And I already have, but it is very much linked to Whitsborough Bay still. It’s just that the particular storyline for that book needed somewhere a little more rural but that in itself has opened up many more possibilities. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of Whitsborough Bay and the surrounding area, especially as I can keep adding bits to it – like the river – as and when new ideas spring to mind. A Pollyanna turned cynic due to life's trials reminded me completely of ME... Tara the owner of Chocolate Pot, not only made the perfect cup of hot chocolate, but was a fabulous crafter and embraced the concept of hygge wholeheartedly in her way of living. I too wanted to live in her flat, it was so cozy with a giant house bunny Hercules... Well I am not too sure of the bunny...😂 😂 I’ll admit that there’s a teeny weeny fragment of sympathy for him, but Joyce seems to think the sun shines out of his arse, whereas I just think he is an arse. This is the second book I've read by Redland, and I really like her light style of writing. Everything feels so real, and normal, but entertaining nonetheless.

I might be a bit biased because I am a big fan of the author. In my opinion all her book are fa-bu-lous. Tara has faced more than her share of adversity, and she has built herself the perfect armour. But perhaps she has gotten too good at keeping people at a distance.Arriving at the picturesque lakeside village of Willowdale, Autumn is swept up by the beauty and magic of the stunning landscape. Welcomed into the community with open arms, she slowly starts to feel like herself again as her creative instincts re-ignite.

I loved how realistic and flawed the characters were, no perfect people, just honest characters with real problems.' While many of her books would be labelled as romantic-comedies on the surface, Redland would seek to explore deeper ideas through her work. This has seen her produce several series set in around her home in Yorkshire, along with a collection of memorable characters too. Gaining a lot of recognition for her work, she has plenty more ideas planned in the pipeline, as she continues writing for some time to come. This book was so full of emotion. It follows 3 women through greif, love, heart ache, friendship all searching for one common thing, the secret to their happiness. The story has darker undertones, challenges and emotional upheavals, which are thoughtfully handled. To counteract those issues are the lighter, humorous moments during the interactions of the three women, which were a joy to read. A mystery thread added another layer and kept me guessing. Every time I see a blogtour for one of this author's books, I just simply have to read it, even if I have to stay up all night. While Barney loves his life at Bumblebee Barn - a farm that has been in his family for generations - he's struggling to find someone to share it with. The early mornings quad biking through muddy fields and the long hours looking after the crops and animals are proving to be a deterrent to finding love.

This story is about Callie’s yearning to have a partner who may want marriage and settle down. She finds herself dealing with betrayal, a boyfriend who is not as he seems and a resident Ruby who seems to be reminiscing and as Callie digs deeper she cannot help herself trying to matchmake but will her efforts be appreciated?. Secrets get revealed and there maybe a chance at love right under her feet. The trouble is real love never runs smoothly. This is book one of a series which I will endeavour to read.
