I’m going to share our experience with the Toniebox, plus a little more about whether it’s good value for money and what it can do. Although it’s a lovely idea, I don’t think we’ve made the most out of the Creative Tonie and that’s simply because neither of us can be bothered to add anything else. 6. Each hand-painted Tonie features a cute character design for playtime on and off the Toniebox. The content on the Tonies isn’t just voices reading a book. For example with The Gruffalo and Room on the Broom Tonies there’s also music and sound effects as the story unfolds. It really brings the story to life! The Toniebox is small enough to be held (with two hands) by a child. It’s not heavy plus is padded with a woven sustainable fabric cover, meaning no sharp edges or potential injuries if they drop it on their foot! The Creative-Tonies are another plus, and 90 minutes is a lot of time to read, sing, make a playlist, record a podcast or several. I can make a Creative-Tonie for the kids and fill it with about 15-20 stories.
