A two-way YKK® VISLON® front zip offers multiple solutions to dump heat or even fit around a climbing harness. They offer alternative fittings around the wrist, so you can adapt them to the conditions you're facing and to your layering system effectively. Outer fabric: The main fabric is 40D Recycled Pertex® Shield. Pertex® Shield is durable, waterproof and highly breathable, creating a comfortable yet protective layer that doesn't feel too heavy or bulky. The material is coated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR, offering extra protection against wet weather, without using any chemicals that would cause damage to the environment.

The Batura II uses over 450grams fill-weight (in size Large) of 800 fill-power (by US standards. Equating to approx. 743 fill-power per EU rating) of RDS certified, Fluorocarbon-free, NikWax treated hydrophobic European Goose down - Claimed to be up to ten times more resistant to the adverse effects of moisture build-up than untreated down. Which in turn is made up of a minimum down-to-feather ratio of: 90% down(cluster/plume) to 10% feather.
