About this deal

After some investigation, I learned from this Bustle writer that the shots were launched in Brazil in 2008 but arrived in the United States much later. I’m paraphrasing here, but it’s a hair mask in “shot form,” made with a really high level of strengthening lipids to target areas that are suffering from extreme heat and color damage. It’s supposed to penetrate the strand instead of coating the hair. Pantene explains that you should use the Miracle Rescue Shot in place of regular conditioner as a weekly deep treatment, though if needed, it can be used more often. It helps prevent split ends and deeply repair extreme damaged with nourishing power. In short, this is the product for people who think there’s no hope. (That was me! And now I’m so happy!)

Heat styling, bleaching, colouring, sun exposure – when you take a look at our everyday hair habits it’s really no wonder that a lot of us have been left with damaged hair that needs some serious looking after.Pantene has dubbed these unique single-use shots their "most potent repair product yet," which instantly made me raise a single brow in suspicion. But as I kept reading, I found that each shot is impressively fortified with hydrating vitamin B-5, strengthening lipids, and natural glycerin for resilience to styling and environmental stresses. Could it really make years of self-inflicted hair damage disappear with just one use?

Pantene Grow Strong reduces hair loss* with keratin reconstruct mask and roots awakener hair volumiser treatment with caffeine, biotin and bamboo. I'm a busy person. I don't say this to brag about having such a full schedule — in fact, I wish I had more free time. However, I also wish I had healthier hair, which is why I'm always looking for ways to combat the heat damage that occurs from blow-drying my curls with the diffuser and using a curling iron on the fussiest parts of my hair that just won't cooperate. During Allure's Best of Beauty testing, I had the privilege of trying out about a thousand (OK, that might be a slight over-estimation, but only slight) hair treatments, and some of them assume I have the time to luxuriate in the shower or bath much longer than I do. But not the Pantene Intense Rescue Shots. These babies do the work they need to do in just one minute — and who doesn't have one minute? I am posting two photos that I took after one use. These are unfiltered photos. The only thing I did to my hair prior to these photos was shampoo, condition, apply one Pantene Rescue Shot, and straightened with a straightener. I did not use any other products at all. My hair looks shiny and healthy and not like someone with bleached hair that is getting damaged from the sun and wind in the car.

Fixing Frizz In Humidity

Four Hair Biology collections, all with shampoo, conditioner and hair masks, including a purple shampoo and silver shampoo for white, grey and blonde hair. Our blonde shampoo includes jojoba oil, antioxidants and Pro-V blend.

The result: My previously fried and frazzled strands instantly felt softer, looked shinier, and bounced higher than they ever had before. For years, I'd been using hair masks during my twice-a-week wash seshes, but this shot was a serious upgrade. It deeply nourished my hair, taking its texture and sheen to a whole new level of healthy. Throw out the flat iron. I found that I really did need to (literally) throw out the flat iron out because I was addicted, haha. (It looked like straw if I didn’t use it, which yes, only perpetuated the problem.) The good news is that once I started using the Rescue Shots, I really didn’t need it anymore because my hair looked (and felt) so much healthier. With all of that regular hair transformation we love comes damage to the structure of our hair, as well as the loss of nutrients – leaving hair dull, rough and rigid. Which is not ideal. I was skeptical about this product but figured the price was good so why not try it. The instructions on this product were too vague for me. Shampoo and condition your hair and then apply one tube of this treatment. Nothing stating a suggested amount of time to leave this product on for. I researched online and anything I found said people were leaving it on for one minute. I figured if a minute was good then fifteen minutes would be better so that is what I did :)Since then, I've made these potent little ampoules a part of my weekly mane maintenance, and have noticed a significant difference in the overall strength of my hair, with far less breakage and fewer split ends. I also find that I'm able to ease up on products like hair oils and frizz creams, which I previously relied on to keep my strands soft and sleek. This post is sponsored by Pantene. I’m a diehard fan, and all passionate expressions of love are real. As always, thank you so, so much for supporting the partnerships that keep Kelly in the City up and running! It’s now more important than ever that we use regular restorative treatments to help repair this everyday damage1. Rescue shots in ampoule format are fast becoming a major haircare category in their own right, so what are they, exactly? Keep reading to learn all about the handy hair treatment you need in your life. Hair damage can be caused by a number of different factors. Styling with straighteners, curlers and hair dryers can lead to heat damage, while colouring, perming and chemical straightening all change the structure of the hair, leading to dryness. Air-dry hair when possible. I throw my hair up in a microfiber towel and try to let it air-dry 80 percent of the way, and then I blow-dry to get a styled look. It’s very helpful!

Use a clarifying shampoo every couple of weeks. Try Pantene’s “Pure, Clean and Clarify” shampoo. It helps prevent buildup from product and environmental factors. :) Use a moisturizing conditioner. As I mentioned, I’m a huge fan of the Miracle Rescue Deep Conditioning Treatment as well as the Miracle Rescue Moisture Mix-In. (Just mix it in to whatever conditioner you normally use when you need extra moisture!) The brand also carries a ton of sulfate-free shampoos, which have been awesome for my hair. Use a hydrating detangling spray to prevent breakage. I love the “Miracle Rescue Multitasking 10 in 1” Spray. It repairs damage, moisturized, detangles, strengthens against breakage, protects color, protects against heat, tames frizz, softens, smooths, and improves shine. I cut my hair shortly thereafter because #parenthood—but this shows the difference!) How to restore dry, brittle and over-processed hair

Silk. Silk, I tell you. My hair was wonderfully soft, had 10x the body, and it didn’t tangle. It bounced. And then I curled it, and it looked like supermodel hair. (Like, in my mind, for me. This is admittedly very relative, haha.) The following morning, I read the directions: Wash hair, apply the shot, and then rinse out. (No long wait time like other deep conditioning and repair treatments!) I didn’t didn’t have high hopes as it seemed too good to be true. But I used it, dried my hair, and… And if that doesn’t convince you to at least give it a shot (see what I did there?), then you’re seriously missing out.
