About this deal

Where it really shines though is its incredible sound from the dynamic and expressive Pure CF Sound Engine and the amazingly authentic playing feel provided by the Graded Hammer Standard 88-key piano keyboard. A ‘Table EQ’ mode can be engaged to optimise the sound when using the piano on a flat surface like a desk or table rather than a stand. This presumably affects the sound output from the speakers on the underside of the instrument, shifting focus to the top speakers, and seems to do its job effectively.

When Would I Recommend The Casio PSX Series: If battery operation is critical to you & you are ok with the unique action and sacrificing rhythms and a good onboard user interface, then the PSX-1000 might be a good option for you. If you also want to have arranger functions and would be excited about hundreds of sounds and rhythms, then the PSX-3000 would be a good option for you to consider.Another notable thing is that the USB port on the P-125 can transfer not only MIDI data but also Audio data (USB Audio Interface), which is quite surprising to see on an instrument in this price range. The Yamaha P 125 is a fantastic digital piano that offers a high-quality playing experience at an affordable price point. With its Pure CF sound engine, GHS weighted action, and 24 included voices; this piano is perfect for beginners and experienced players. With a maximum polyphony of 192 notes, the piano can handle complex musical pieces with rich layers of sound. It has built-in reverberation sound effects, enhancing the overall quality of the audio. It also includes organic piano elements that enrich the sound and make it more natural. Some of these elements are damper resonance, string resonance, and key-off simulation.

There are 6 dedicated buttons for each of the sound sections (Piano, E.Piano, Organ, Strings, etc.) as well as buttons for a metronome, rhythms, and recording features. The dilemmas you’ll face when choosing your child’s first piano: Part 1 Yamaha P125A – read our review here

The default “ Medium” touch sensitivity is optimal for most people and feels the closest to the real thing. The second option is to buy a furniture style stand, which would provide a more elegant look for your home interior and more stability compared to portable stands.I was able to play both keyboards side by side and, to be honest, I didn’t notice much difference in touch between the P-115 and the P-125. But I don't think one would mind the color if you think about the possibilities of bringing the piano everywhere - yes folks, the Yamaha P-125 is easily portable and can be transported anywhere!
