About this deal

Polypropylene is a translucent, synthetic material, which is used by NUK for the manufacture of BPA-free baby bottles. Its smooth surface ensures that it is pleasant to touch. It is notably shatterproof and is even suitable for freezing. Any parent who bottle-fed their baby will tell you that not every bottle is the same. Even the size of the bottle can help – or hinder – your baby accepting it for feeding. Thanks to the flexible silicone material and the wide opening it is very easy to use: simply place the bottle into the sleeve and close it with the button: worrying about glass shards in the family kitchen is now a thing of the past! Even if a bottle does break the shards stay in the sleeve and can be disposed of safely. The transparent narrow window lets you always see how full the bottle is. Includes Size 1 (0-6m) Latex Teat with Medium Feed Hole. Latex is softer and more flexible than silicone which can make it easier for some babies to adapt to, it is also more bite resistant

That’s really up to you and your preferences. There are pros and cons to both glass and plastic baby bottles, and every mum you talk to will have an opinion on them. Choose a bottle that suits you and you’re baby, and you’re winning. We were disappointed the bottle had no protective sleeve available. Since drops and bumps are inevitable, we think many parents would appreciate an extra layer of protection for a glass baby bottle. Glass is also heavier than silicone and plastic. We suggest monitoring your child while they drink from this bottle because its weight could pose a challenge, and older children could move around or become squirmy, increasing the chance of a drop. Here are the best bottles our editors have highlighted through research. And it's all supported by our parents in the BabyCentre community. You will have heard of BPA (bisphenol A), which we’ve been avoiding in plastic goods for a long time. This chemical can leach into drinks and food, so it’s always vital to make sure any bottles, plastic lunchboxes, or bags are BPA-free.Suitable for combination feeding* - the extra wide lip support simulates breast feeding as closely as possible For many years, NUK First Choice has been the first choice for bottle feeding modelled on breastfeeding. With NUK First Choice + we have managed to get even closer to nature – for healthy jaw development and a drinking sensation as if at a mother’s breast.

Due to its particularly natural shape, the NUK teat is accepted well by babies. This means that it is specially suited for babies who are both bottle and breastfeed. If the food is too hot, the normally blue indicator will turn white. Ideally, the food for feeding should have body temperature (37°C) and corresponds to the mean blue tone on the display. The new Temperature Control function is integrated in NUK First Choice + bottles made of polyamide and polypropylene. Licensed editions are excluded. Your glass baby bottle will last much longer for you and your baby; plastic bottles often cloud and scuff over time, whereas your glass bottle will stay shiny and clean forever. So no more throw-away plastic; plus, glass can be recycled properly, and won’t live forever in our oceans after you’re done with it. Should I buy a glass baby bottle? With its new soft zone, the silicone baglet is a better fit against the roof of your baby´s mouth – giving a natural feeling while drinking. The transparent sleeve is BPA-free and gives every bottle a new look. Clean the sleeve by rinsing thoroughly by hand.

Should You Buy the NUK Simply Natural Glass?

NUK offers baby bottles made out of the synthetic materials polypropylene (PP) andpolyamides (PA). They are particularly light and nearly unbreakable and with that, optimally-suited for use both at home and out and about. Polyamide are synthetic materials with a high level of transparency, which it retains by being chemical-resistant – discolouring and clouding are a thing of the past. Polyamide is BPA-free, but not suitable for the microwave however.

If you’re worried about glass bottles slipping out of your grasp easily, you can buy special sleeves to give you extra grip.NUK Baby Bottles are made from different materials. The greatest tangible difference is between glass and plastic – both materials are very suitable for baby formula and breast milk. Here you can find some points to help you make your decision. Likewise, there are one or two anti-reflux bottles. This is quite a worrying claim. Reflux is a medical problem, and no bottle would ever be able to make it better. Also, the word "natural" used to describe a bottle might suggest that some bottles are less good, or unnatural, which is simply untrue.
