About this deal

All your Troops are Objective Secure. You have some of the most resilient Troops in the game by virtue of their special rules and stats, so holding Objectives should prove easier than others. Devourer Nanoscarabs [3 EP] – This gives your operative a one-shot ranged weapon that’s basically a boltgun with 6” range, Indirect, Lethal 5+. It’s a neat way to shoot someone through a wall in a pinch and it’s the closest thing Necrons get to grenades. Phaeron ( Szarekh • Imotekh the Stormlord) • Overlord ( Anrakyr the Traveler • Trazyn the Infinite • Nemesor Zahndrekh) • Lord ( Vargard Obyron • Lokhust Lord • Flayer King • Skorpekh Lord) • Royal Warden

Warhammer Community: Get a first look at this year’s exclusive Store Anniversary models (Posted on 04/01/2021) (Last accessed on 4 Janurary 2021) Implacable Conqueror- CORE units within 6” get to reroll charges. A solid buff for melee focused armies, or as a secondary trait to enable a combat contingent be more reliable. Anrakyr has this cos the whole unstoppable wave of conquering worlds is his thing. Butchers- Novokh’s +1” to Charges. It’s reliable, and can work nicely with some of the Circumstances below if you’re looking for a melee alternative, but giving up the Novokh Stratagem alone is a big ask. Canoptek Control Node - The Canoptek Control Node is a device that allows a Technomancer to control, repair or augment the abilities of Necron Canoptek constructs on the battlefield from afar. It works through the use of beams of microscopic Nanoscarabs that are sent to carry out the requested operations on the designated constructs. Canoptek Cloak - The Canoptek Cloak allows a Technomancer to move swiftly across the battlefield to reinforce Canoptek constructs wherever needed.Sentient Necrodermis – Get a 3+ Sv, same as the Void Dragon. Simple and handy vs lots of AP0 weapons, but not the best one to roll up, and likely not one you’d be choosing. TheChirurgeon: Ultimately while I think the new upgrade sprue is cool, this team just doesn’t seem to “get there” – I like what they’re doing with the Cryptek leader but the tradeoff from the Tomb World kill team in models and ranged power just isn’t there. This team feels like it’s going to need an adjustment in a future balance dataslate, and my guess is that one potential change will be just making Commence Reanimation 0 CP – something they already did for Tomb Worlds. There’s some really cool stuff here, but the team just doesn’t have the APL to actually make use of it. I think with a couple of tweaks, this team could get there.

Curse of the Phaeron- A VEHICLE automatically explodes. A useful tool to have if an opponent has sent melee to deal with your tanks, or to take the last wound off a Character with your Barge. Costs 3 CP on TITANIC units due to their larger, more powerful explosions. But you know who also has a 2D6” range, D6 Mortal Wound Explosion? The Silent King. And he’s not TITANIC . So woe betide anyone that kills him in combat.

Stratagems

explode’ essentially translates to ‘An unmodified 6 to Hit does an additional hit’, so read that as ‘Does 2 Hits instead of 1’. A variant of this is ‘Tesla’ which does 3 hits instead of 1 on an unmodified 6 to Hit. Per the Core Rules, anything that might also happen on a 6 to hit (such as auto-wounding) does not apply to the additional hit, only the original. Each time a unit's reanimation protocols are enacted, make Reanimation Protocol rolls for that unit by rolling a number of D6 equal to the combined Wounds characteristics of all the reassembling models. Each Reanimation Protocol roll of 5+ is put into a pool. A Reanimation Protocol roll can never be modified by more than -1 or +1. Aside from the named characters it appears the Psychomancer is the best Cryptek, by far. With the way the new edition is set up, table control is everything and the Psychomancer can do some real nasty shenanigans to help you control...you know the thing. As Tomb Worlds need perpetual maintenance to maintain their countless systems functioning at peak efficiency, it is not unknown for a slighted Cryptek to bring the maintenance cycle to a screaming halt should his supposed "betters" require a reminder of the power he and his kind wield. Even the proudest Necron Overlord will muster an apology when his soldiers and weapons seize up on the eve of battle.
