as a digital equivalent. I would really like to be able to put some Collectible Minifigures into some of my Studio builds,

We now leave the world of live action Disney+ shows, and dive into What If…?, the animated series exploring alternate timelines and scenarios featuring our favourite Marvel charatcers. I think the door is not completely closed on having identifiable markings, or some way to tell what’s inside, so it’s really important to make your voice heard. So CMF gets a certain budget to create new molds, and that is not available for the general design teams to borrow from. The good news is that by spreading out production worldwide, those new CMF elements do tend to become instantly available to other themes, where before you had to pitch them like a completely new design, since they’d basically have to cut a new mold for non-Chinese production. Not every CMF element will show up in other themes, but hopefully under the new arrangement there’s some crosstalk to make sure they don’t miss any opportunities to turn a single-use design into something that can be reused long-term. Even if it means listening to people whinge about the baby croc-o-gator not having Loki horns. Also, I think if the people won’t have an opportunity to feel what is inside, it will be too much of a gamble for them to buy minifigs, if they want one or two of whole series. And if they don’t want to pay more than minifig is worth according to LEGO price, they won’t buy it online for double price. So less minifigs bought, less money for LEGO itself.

It could probably be improved with an Easter Egg referencing the Ship of Theseus, but otherwise is an awesome addition to any LEGO Marvel collection. Surprise characters – Kids can dive into the exciting world of Marvel Studios with these LEGO® Minifigures Marvel Series 2 (71039) characters. There is a surprise minifigure in every blind box I loathe the “loot box” model and they’re insidious and greedy, especially in video games. With actual toys, the idea is that since they are cheap, a “bad pull” won’t weigh too much on a kid, and it shouldn’t be hard to try again (be it a reward from a parent or if they save up money themselves to buy one) But it’s really fun to confuse people! Also, if a store worker sasses you off about it not being an effective method of finding specific ones, you can buy two or three, make predictions, and open them in front of the worker to see the sass drain out of their face. It’s a beautiful thing to watch." I totally understand trying to be more eco friendly but I think LEGO have made an error in the implementation which has led to unfortunate results for the consumer, the retailers and the LEGO brand.Out of all the 3 new Disney+ shows released so far, Loki has been a smash hit, and has been my favourite, so I’m thrilled to get Loki and Sylvie to add to my collection.

Next, we have the long-awaited re-release of She-Hulk minifigure, based on her Disney+ series version where Tatiana Maslany plays the Hulk’s lawyer cousin, Jen Walters. With 12 incredible characters to collect, featuring iconic MCU characters, and all-new reimagined versions from What If…?, this series promises to delight any fan of the Marvel universe.Marvel fans and kids aged 5+ can recreate action scenes with this incredible set of LEGO® Marvel Minifigures (71039) blind boxes. This eagerly anticipated sequel to the popular Series 1 features iconic characters from some of Marvel Studio’s most beloved Disney+ shows and can be collected, displayed, or used to enjoy gripping role-play.

While I support the move away from plastic blind bags, I think it’s a terrible, and consumer unfriendly idea to have these truly be “blind boxes”. This isn’t the LEGO Minifigures team cooking up new ways to sell more product, or to make it more frustrating for consumers and fans. The first number ranges from 1-7, and I’m not sure what they mean at this stage, because it’s the first time I’ve seen a manufacturing code with the added number. In all honesty, it’s probably the day of the week given there’s 7 digits… These minifigures appear remarkably appealing and have therefore attracted extraordinary excitement, perhaps surpassing other Collectable Minifigures. Certain prominent characters are missing though, which has proven contentious. Nevertheless, I anticipate the individual designs overshadowing the potential selection issues. Box Distribution Moon Knight is hands down the best minifigure of Marvel Series 2 and a strong contender for Minifigure of the Year. Moon Knight’s elaborate mummy-esque details are rendered amazingly across every single surface and it’s been a while since I’ve had a Collectible Minifigure make me go, wow! LEGO have batch codes and more randomised strings all over their sets, from inner polybags, and batch codes on the tape that holds boxes shut. Once you figure out how to read them, you’ll begin seeing them everywhere and it’s a fun exercise to figure out which factories your LEGO comes from.
