About this deal

So, we now know why Choso thought that Yuji was his brother. But was he correct in thinking this? Or was it just a misconception on his side? Well… let us see that as well. It turns out that Choso and Itadori are indeed related, but the story is as morbid as these things get Digital goods, open DVDs and Blu-rays, smart art prints, mystery bundles, and final sale items are excluded from the return policy. It turned out that Choso was right as both his father, Noritoshi Kamo, and Yuji’s mother, Kaori Itadori, were Kenjaku, so – technically – they have one shared parent. Choso suspected that Itadori might be his brother after they fought, and that is why he did not kill him

To understand the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, one must first appreciate the circumstances of their creation. At the beginning of Japan's Meiji Era (roughly the middle of the 19th-century), an unknown woman mysteriously became pregnant with a half-human, half-curse child, leading her to be ostracized from her family. After fleeing from her home, the woman arrived a temple where jujutsu sorcery was practiced — it was at this point that she first met Noritoshi Kamo, arguably the most evil jujutsu sorcerer of all-time. Under Kamo's guidance, the mother of the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings was impregnated nine times, and each time, the heinous jujutsu sorcerer aborted her unborn children, keeping their fetuses for future experimentation.Does anyone think it’s significant that Yuji‘s memory-altering ability seems to only be effective on humans? It fully worked on Todo; he really believes that he and Yuji are “brothers.” Choso seems to be struggling to accept the false memory, which could be because he’s only half human. It never activated against Mahito, and Yuji’s fought him more than once. This leads me to believe that this is not an innate cursed technique of his, or else he’d be able to use it effectively against cursed spirits. I think it might be a curse itself, born out of his grandpa’s desire for Yuji to be surrounded by friends, and that’s why it seems to be targeted toward humans. The relationship between Choso and Yuji Itadori is a complex one. Still, we can confirm that the two of them are siblings, half-brothers to be precise, but the story of how this came to be true is very morbid and shows just how twisted of a villain Kenjaku is. Furudate • Fumi • Jin Itadori • Keita Oe • Nagi Yoshino • Saori • Tadashi Okazaki • Takada-chan • Wasuke Itadori • Yuko Ozawa Choso's wise and coolheaded nature pairs well with his overall intellect. He is a formidable strategist, best displayed when he helped create the best possible plan to combat Kenjaku with Yuki and Tengen. Choso pointed out that Kenjaku wouldn't open his domain against Yuki if he knew someone else was lying in wait. The plan was altered to use Choso to draw out Kenjaku's cursed techniques and convincingly remove himself from the fight. This was ultimately successful despite a few mishaps, as Kenjaku didn't expect Choso's return to the fight and was caught completely off guard by his ambush. [39] [40]

Haruta Shigemo • Jiro Awasaka • Juzo Kumiya • Kenjaku • Niji Ebina • Ogami • Ogami's grandson • Sukuna • Uraume The blood of Choso's younger brothers, Eso and Kechizu, has the same toxicity as his. However, since Yuji is Sukuna's vessel, and he has resistance to poisons, he's fine when exposed to their blood. This rule applies to Choso's blood too. Choso earned the opportunity to take revenge on Yuji but could feel his impending death right before dealing the killing blow. It's a side effect of his composition as a Death Painting Womb and of his cursed technique. Choso can feel the death of his brothers and felt the same intense sensation from Yuji's impending death as he did from Eso and Kechizu's. To himself) " It’s an effect of my cursed technique. I can sense the transformation of my younger brothers through our blood connection no matter how far away they are. For living things… …death… …is the final and greatest… …transformation. I saw it with my own eyes. I had an intense sensation of Yuji Itadori’s “death.” That must mean… …Yuji is my younger brother! If Noritoshi Kamo has extended his life by moving from body to body… …then nothing is impossible. So… …using all my strength… …I will fulfill my duty as the older brother!!" [63] High Tactical Intellect: Choso has existed for one-hundred and fifty years and one of his greatest weapons is his incredible level of wisdom. His mastery over Blood Manipulation has allowed Choso the freedom to experiment and utilize its abilities in ways that are all unique to him. He applies the technique in many different ways during battle to swing the tide in his favor.

Choso wants to kill his father Kenjaku for the sake of his family and has no issue sacrificing his life to do so. [10] [11] On the edge of defeat against Kenjaku, Choso refused to accept defeat because he felt as if his younger brothers were pushing him through the pain and telling him to fight on. [12] [13] He refused to accept Kenjaku's disinterest in them and used moves inspired by each of them to do his best to commit patricide. [14] In addition to jujutsu, Choso also excels in taijutsu, capable of standing up against a master martial artist like Yuji. Using his wit alongside assorted techniques to contend with Yuji's strength, Choso overcame his opponent to the degree that he could have ended his life. [22] This is even after Mechamaru helped the Jujutsu High student put the blood manipulator in a situation where he couldn't control it outside his body. Choso was first shown as a villain in the series. He is the oldest, the leader, and the most humanoid of the three Cursed Womb: Death Paintings (1-3) we’ve seen in the series early on. He is distant and stern, although he greatly loves his younger brothers. He has the same skill as Noritoshi Kamo, which gives him complete control over his blood and other attributes. Overall Skill Level: Ranked special grade, Choso is exceptionally powerful even by cursed spirit standards. While still existing as a cursed object, Choso was intelligent and self-aware, allowing him to hone his cursed techniques for 150 years. [16] By the time he was incarnated, Choso had already mastered Blood Manipulation to a level that far surpasses the current Noritoshi Kamo. [17] To Naoya Zenin) " Whether they’re superior or inferior, older brothers are role models for their younger brothers. An older brother who takes the wrong path shows their younger brothers to avoid it. And if I take the right path, my little brothers can follow behind. What if the reason you’re strong is that your older brothers are weak? You asked why I’m tough. I’ll tell you. It’s because I didn’t have someone to guide me, so I had to make all my own mistakes. Nonetheless, I must walk ahead of my little brothers. That’s why I’m strong." [64] This is why he had it in for Itadori, whom he wanted to confront and kill, and they ended up facing each other during the Shibuya Incident. So, what happened? Well, the two of them faced off, and it was a truly epic clash, but something happened then. Choso experienced a vision during the struggle, and as a result, he became sure that Yuji was one of his younger siblings.Choso was initially introduced as a villain in Jujutsu Kaisen, as the leader of the three Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. His two siblings were killed by Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, which is why he wanted to kill both of them, with Yuji being his primary target. During his minimal role in the battle to seal Satoru Gojo, Choso showcased a host of different Blood Manipulation techniques. None of them could breach Gojo's Infinity, but they were also used to slaughter tons of non-sorcerers to put him at a further disadvantage. [18] [19] [20] [21] Imagine a figure emerging from a world where cursed spirits meet humans: that’s Choso. As a Death Painting Womb, Choso is an enigmatic blend of human and cursed spirit. His mere presence intrigues, but there’s much more to him than what meets the eye. Appearance Unveiled: This is significant because Choso was going to kill Yuji after defeating him when he received the vision that caused him to turn around and save his life. This is the vision we spoke about before; as a result of that vision, Choso was convinced that Yuji was his sibling. Choso, a brotherly figure protective by nature, naturally switches sides and decides to spare Yuji and soon join him completely to shield him from danger. Despite appearing to be a very dissociative person, Choso is very attached and protective of his brothers. Upon being incarnated, Choso told his two brothers that three of them lived only for one another and that they were all one. [4]

An exhausted Choso showcasing his taijutsu skill and toughness by fighting Kenjaku at the end of Shibuya Incident. And it’s not just raw power. Choso’s genius lies in his tactical intellect. Centuries of existence have blessed him with wisdom, allowing him to manipulate his abilities in ways unique to him, turning even dire situations to his advantage. In Conclusion: Namely, as we soon found out, it turns out that Yuji’s mother, Kaori Itadori, and Choso’s father, Noritoshi Kamo, are one and the same person. Right now, this makes even less sense. However, this is where the huge twist is revealed. In actuality, both of them were Kenjaku, a formidable ancient jujutsu sorcerer who serves as one of the series’ key antagonists and one of its main villains. Specifically, Kenjaku can take control of any corpse by implanting his own brain within the body.

As Megumi Fushiguro battles a cursed spirit bearing one of Sukuna's fingers, Nobara Kugisaki and Yuji Itadori battle against two of the Death Paintings brought to life by Mahito. Despite the grotesque appearance of these two characters (named Eso and Kechizu), they demonstrate a unique trait for cursed spirits: a willingness to sacrifice their own safety or the sake of another's well-being. The pair truly seem to think of each other as brothers, so it's only natural that their surviving sibling, Choso, is emotionally distraught when he finds out about their loss. However, he eventually finds companionship in the most unlikely of places — Yuji Itadori. All Known Cursed Womb: Death Paintings Master Hand-to-Hand Combat: As previously stated, Choso excels in unarmed combat and was able to overpower two powerful combatants that fight exclusively at close range, Yuji and Naoya. Enhanced by his cursed techniques, Choso's martial arts is a threat that can even contend with the likes of Yuji. Enhanced by Blood manipulation, Choso was able to parry and counter Yuji's martial arts with his own. [42] [43]
