The legend tells that on a mountain plateau called Fio'taun, an alliance of plains dwellers and Air T'au laid siege to the mightiest fortress-city of the builder T'au. Nearly seven thousand beings dwelt in the great citadel and, in vain, the traders attempted to negotiate with the plains warriors. The plains warriors' blood was afire though, and they would brook no settlement save that delivered at the end of a rifle. The two strangers talked through the night, their words carrying great power, and as the sun crested the horizon, a truce had been agreed between the warring factions. Overall, Aun’shi doesn’t bring anything of significant merit to a Viorla list that wouldn’t be provided better by or equivalently to an Ethereal on a drone – staying with your advancing stealth suits and other infantry. Aun’shi did not receive any point changes in CA2018 and as a result, remains just as much of a questionable choice as he was prior – he doesn’t bring much lethality to the table for T’au. At best, he provides a fringe-use-case character that can occasionally be difficult for your opponent to remove or enact a somewhat decent heroic intervention. By and large though, I think there are definitely better choices to consider than Aun’shi. Terrible rumours swirled around the T'au Empire, but all fears and doubts were silenced by the announcement that, in a matter of days, Ethereal Supreme Aun'Va would broadcast a speech, his new statement to be beamed across the Sept worlds and beyond. It was to be a message of hope and courage, a message to be seen by all children of the Greater Good.

Crusade Relics

If every model in an INFANTRY unit is on or in an Area Terrain feature with this trait, then it can either Hold Steady or it can Set to Defend (see below) when an enemy unit declares a charge against it.
