The Creative Media Centre does not provide spare / extra memory cards (all cameras come with either 1 or 2 memory cards depending on make / model). Choose headphones with a microphone, so you can talk to your tutor and coursemates. And ensure your headphones are compatible with your device, by having the correct connector or adaptor. However they can be more powerful with bigger and better screens. Plus they usually offer better connectivity with other devices such as scanners, printers, cameras and phones. An i5 processor will give you more processing power and is useful if you are running design software (Adobe CC for example) or video editing software (such as Final Cut Pro). The Creative Media Centre does not format/erase memory cards. It is the student's responsibility to format/erase memory cards BEFORE using the equipment to ensure full capacity of data storage. Depending on your lesson, you may need to have some additional software installed on your device. Hallam PCs come with the appropriate software for logging onto your session.
