About this deal

i’m so disappointed and kind of sad that i didn’t love and enjoy this book as much as i wanted to. all the right ingredients were present to depict the perfect romance and with author’s writing i had no doubt that i would literally devour this story. my problem is; i felt no spark between the protagonists, no chemistry or alchemy. i didn’t root for them. i didn’t hate them but i didn’t love them either. everything felt bland for at least the first 70% of the plot but the 30% left got me all the feels and i wish it was sufficient to say i enjoyed this book. Listen, this book was far from bad. I would’ve rated it higher (about 3.5-4 stars) if it weren’t for the MANY ISSUES it had. 💔 Your mom is the absolute worst, Zee.” “So is yours. I rest my head on his shoulder. “Look at us,” I tease. “Trauma-bonding.❞ The romance was actually really good. I loved Stevie and Zanders together. They had a genuine well developed connection. Their conversations were believable. This book had so many cute and romantic scenes which were so well written. Again, I can’t believe how well-written this was and how it had a good storyline, but at the same time so many beginner-level mistakes that destroyed everything (for me), including the rating. I have seen the book Mile High by Liz Tomforde all over book-tok and was a little skeptical because I totally just wrote it off as another basic athlete story with a ton of spice and not a lot of depth (I shouldn't judge I know!) I do enjoy some books in this sub-genre but a lot of them I just can't get in to!

The supporting characters- Indy, was the most annoying character in this book for me. The way she talks is just so damn immature, it irked me a lot. Maddison and his whole family were sweet. Ryan is another character I liked. You don’t have to love your body every single day. That’s unrealistic to expect, but I’ll be here loving it for the days you can’t.❞ i honestly have no words for this story. i have too many words. ugh, i just loved it and them so so much. first, it starts out as a little grumpy sunshine because kai is so overprotective of his son and is VERY skeptical about miller’s abilities but over time, he falls head over heels and spends the rest of the time trying to convince her she has a place with them.I’m honestly obsessed with this book and this series as a whole. I have a feeling who the 4th book will be about (confirmed that Rio will be the 5th) and I’m stoked to keep reading about these characters. This is one of those books that I know I’ll find myself rereading time and time again! Because with Miller Montgomery, my coach's daughter, standing in my kitchen looking like that, I'm afraid something very dangerous has already gotten in." I found Mile High to be a stunning portrayal of a sports romance that brings together the beauty of the sport and the depths of love and connection in a truly balanced intimate way that will take you high into the sky of learning the importance of family, self worth and the value of fighting for your romantic mate! I wish we had more insight with regards to the mental health organisation he ran with his friend, Maddison.

I loved watching him fall for Stevie and even more, I loved watching her gain confidence and love herself. Zee was so into her and it was obvious how much he cared. He never made her question her worth. I've been a flight attendant for years. I thought I'd seen it all, but when my new job lands me onboard working for the most egotistical and self-righteous diva in the NHL, I start to second guess everything. Including the promise I made to myself of never hooking up with an athlete again . . . no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be. As a high-end pastry chef who recently won the most prestigious award in my industry, I’m desperate to prove I deserve it. But with a new title comes new pressure, and I can’t create a fresh and inspiring dessert to save my life.Next point, Zanders was INSUFFERABLE. I’m sorry, but y’all will have to stand up at some point (make it soon).🤭 Like, for sure, he has redeeming qualities about him, like, I can genuinely (based on his actions but without spoiling anything) see that he’s a good kind man with morals (who would’ve thought) BUT Stevie: was she an amazing character? no. but she was not really a terrible character either. there were times that she was funny and bold, and i kind of liked that. there’s also the fact that she’s plus size and i really think the author did a nice job of portraying her insecurities with her body. but, those things aside, there is nothing else to say about her. at the beginning of the book, i thought she had potential to be a great and remarkable character, but she isn’t. as i said, i don’t hate Stevie and i don’t think she’s terrible, but in general, she’s not a character that i’d call interesting. Omg I knew I was right to trust Steph Bohrer’s recommendations!! She never misses. I’m so glad I ended up loving this book because I had high hopes for it. This was such a fun, easy and heartwarming read. At the beginning it was difficult to get invested in the story but it didn’t take long for me to become obsessed with this book Which leads me to my conclusion, I have a feeling that Ryan’s book will be much better than this one. He

Miller never planned to be a nanny. In fact, she is one of the top pastry chefs in her field, but she is burnt out and needs a break. She decides to go to Chicago to spend some time with her dad (who is a baseball coach) and that’s where she meets Malachi. Kai. Baseball Daddy. Kai Rhodes forgot how to have fun, and I’m eager to jog his memory. But when he and his son start to feel like home, I have to remind us both that my time in Chicago ends with the summer. he’s a co-founder of a charity foundation that supports underprivileged young athletes who don’t have the mental health resources they need. Caught Up" is an amazing follow up and instalment to the "Windy City Series" and I am here for all of it!!Her eyes are probably the most interesting pair I’ve ever seen, and her body is perfectly full, with plenty to grab onto. But unfortunately, her pretty outside that I like is tainted by the attitude I don’t like.” However I started it yesterday and am already 50% though and am LOVING it! I used to be a flight attendant and also have a brother who is a pro-athlete, as does the FMC, so maybe it's because I relate to her story so much but wow these characters are just incredible!
