The good news is that MeacoDry Arete One Dehumidifier arrives pre-assembled and is basically ready to use. You'll just need to leave it to stand for at least six hours before you run it for the first time to allow any refrigerant that may have moved during transit to settle. As a result, desiccant dehumidifiers are the best option for rooms that are likely to fall below 15°c, as at lower temperatures compressor and Peltier models can struggle to work efficiently. Saying that we have tested it downstairs in our open plan living/dining room, as well as in our horribly damp kitchen, and it was really efficient there too.
