About this deal

After managing to momentarily escape Huggy and landing on a brittle catwalk, the player pulls a crate onto the crumbling structure just as Huggy bursts from the vents, causing it to collapse. Though the player manages to land safely on another catwalk not far below, Huggy strikes the railing and proceeds to fall into the abyss on the facility, slamming into several pipelines and leaving behind dark red blood splatters. The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. Corrective action Corrupt Corporate Executive: Can't be bothered to treat employees fairly, has a very old factory which is extremely dangerous to work in, the existence of a Game Station and Orphanage within the factory is head scratching at best. And that is not even mentioning the various unethical and nightmarish experiments that created living toy mascots to roam around the abandoned factory years later. Pet the Dog: In the Project: Playtime tutorial, he explains how to extract other players by telling you to "save Johnny", because "he deserves it". Showcases that even if Leith is a condescending and corrupted businessman, he'd rather not have his employees dead and shows some amount of respect for them doing their job. Inferiority Superiority Complex: His egotistical manner may in fact be a cover for his inferiority complex with his role as the Chief Marketing Officer. Despite his role being important, as without him, the successful toys would not have been marketed and sold out, his constant appraisal of himself and his marketing skills seems odd as he shouldn't be this happy of himself if he really did a good job. His last comment, "If there is anything Playtime Co. should be known for, it's not toys, it's marketing.", further implies he is not given enough credit or respect for his work.

Silent Antagonist: The Huggy Wuggy mascot from Chapter 1 doesn't utter a noise while he chases after the player, making him far more menacing.Ambiguous Situation: As of now, it's not clear if Poppy is an antagonist or not. Chapter 2 shows her in a sympathetic light, with her even stating that she needs the player character to help her stop something worse, but even then, it's unclear whether or not her motives are either good or evil. And I Must Scream: She may be suffering from this, if the "LET ME GO LET ME GO LET ME GO" that briefly flashes across the screen in the Maintenance video is any indication. In chapter 2 she also reveals that she was awake and sentient the whole time she was trapped in the case but was unable to free herself.

Mommy Long legs isn't just an accurate moniker because she was created to be a mother figure; it's also something of a Distaff Counterpart name to the daddy-long-legs spider. More Teeth than the Osmond Family: When Huggy Wuggy is chasing you, his mouth opens to reveal these. You get a good look at them during his Jump Scare, where he bites into the Player Character. Dying Vocal Change: Mommy's death first has her screaming hysterically as she's slowly dragged into an industrial grinder, which rapidly decreases in pitch and grinds to a halt when her abdomen bursts.Love Bug– a butterfly-like bug that appears on a blueprint in the Rejected Room and may have originally been intended to join the Swap-imals line alongside PJ Pug-a-Pillar and Cat-Bee Blatant Lies: Tells Marcas "We build toys, not monsters!" when the latter tells him he saw "a monster" with a "ton of legs" (in other words, PJ). Neither Marcas nor the Player buys it.
