In my opinion the Flymo Lawnrake is extremely competitively priced for the marketplace. I found it to be a lightweight but sturdy piece of equipment which was easy to manoeuvre around the lawn and very effective for home use. It is also a great machine for removing moss, weeds and thatch from your lawn. A task you’ll be doing more often than raking is cutting. The relatively powerful 750 W motor and cylinder have been specifically designed for easy removal of thatch and moss. An electric scarifier has blades as opposed to tines which cut deeper into the soil removing compact layer of thatch and moss that starve your lawn of vital nutrients and air. If you want your grass to look tidy and healthy then you need to take care of all that moss and thatch, as well as other debris that can be found after mowing the lawn. It has a 34 L collection box which compacts the thatch, moss and grass as it collects it to save you trips to the compost bin.In my opinion, the first use always appears the worst as it may appear as if it had damaged your lawn. This is especially if you have concentrated patches of moss, once the rake gets rid of the debris, then it can leave bare patches making it look worse than it is. This can be easily sorted by re-sowing seeds at the start of the season. However, it is for the best and your lawn will soon recover. This Lawnrake is easy to assemble. I managed to assemble it within 15 minutes but found that the instructions weren’t easy to follow. All you need to do is to clip on the wheels and handles.
