Sound quality is a little disappointing given that this is LG’s flagship 4K TV, and you’ll have to pay extra for a stand if you don’t want to wall mount it as there’s not one included, but otherwise, this mighty MLA-powered is hard to fault and one of the best televisions we’ve seen years. The TCL Q7/Q750G QLED is a very good QLED TV, but like the TCL QM8/QM850G QLED, it's buggy, with poor upscaling capabilities and terrible color accuracy pre-calibration. The Hisense U7K is a much better TV overall and a better value. The JVC Fire TV 43” Smart TV has an impressive range of connectivity options, including three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and built-in Wi-Fi. Connecting all your favorite devices, including gaming consoles, soundbars, and streaming devices, is easy. The TV also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to connect wireless headphones or speakers. Our only significant complaint about the 42-inch C3 is that it sounds very dull, but seeing that we almost always recommend budgeting for a dedicated sound system (such as a soundbar) with almost any TV you buy, we're not going to hold that against the little C3 unduly. A 43-inch television may be on the smaller side, but it's a great size for lounges, bedrooms and more compact rooms. OLED sets will be best for achieving natural contrast, and will help make cinematic games look truly breathtaking. LG's OLED TVs also come with Nvidia G-Sync to help smooth out gameplay onscreen, too. If you’re spending a decent chunk of your hard-earned money on a new television, it’s prudent to try and secure the longest warranty possible. This will ensure that youwill be covered in the event of anything going wrong with the set. You'll get a brighter picture, the TVs tend to last longer, they're cheaper and there's no risk of burn-in – a mark that's left on the screen of OLED TVs when displaying images with static graphics like a news network logo.
