About this deal

The texture of this balm is so divine and unlike anything else I’ve ever tried – it has a whipped, almost jelly-like texture that helps it to melt into your skin for the most amazing, sensorial experience. We also added finely crushed, ethically-sourced lavender pearls that give a beautiful iridescence to the skin. This means that as well as the long-term benefits of this moisturizer (I’ll get to that shortly!), it gives an immediate glow that is so beautiful and satisfying. Over the last few days, Huda and Wishful have been sharing some images of honey and have asked their followers to guess what the launch was going to be. According to an independent consumer test carried out on 35 people, all skin types, complexions and genera, with use of the product twice a day.

It’s been designed so the long bristles hold product on the surface of the brush while the shorter bristles support even application over the skin, making it so much easier to get to hard-to-reach places. It’s been designed for the Honey Balm, but it can be used with any skincare or primer. Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3, it visibly reduces the appearance of pores and uneven skin tone.Huda Kattan has announced the newest addition to their Wishful skincare brand; the Wishful Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer which is launching today. Their last product launch was the Clean Genie Cleansing Balm, so it’s exciting that they’re now launching a moisturiser. Huda has struggled with problematic skin, so it was important for her that the Wishful Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer had a formula that would work for all skin types, because it’s non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic too. Directions I cannot use this as a day moisturiser that sits under my sunscreen. I have tried applying this product 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 60 minutes before applying my sunscreen. I am using this product as part of my 40-day test run of a mix of products. My 40-days are not over, but the combination of these products is not working for me: a benefit of paying for your own products is I don’t need for my skin to become completely awful before I switch routines. When did I use the balm?

If you are a regular reader you’ll know that an inability of any product to work with my sunscreen is an egregious failure. However, I really don’t like bashing brandings, but when its necessary, I am merciless. What am I reviewing and how much did I pay?

The Wishful Honey Balm Jelly Moisturizer is described as being a luxurious, unique formulathat really goes above and beyond to hydrate, brighten, reduce the appearance of pores, and bring that glow. I have reverted to using this as my night or evening cream: honestly, it does nothing for my skin. I care about the beautiful iridescent glow during daylight hours and not when I am about to sleep. It sounds like such a lovely moisturiser, with a unique and interesting texture, and I’ll keep you updated once further information is revealed.

I went for a brisk walk in the morning (so just before sunrise) and it is about 35 C. My skin felt a bit dry and I applied some of his product. This was by far, the worst thing I could have done to my skin: it is humid where I live and after about 20 minutes I felt as if my skin could not breathe – the moisturiser was claustrophobic and trying to wipe it off just made matters worse. What’s inside the product? The product smells predominantly of lavender, which is a cold weather herb. Therefore, the smell uncommon in South Asia and that’s my explanation for why I like it less than (say) jasmine. The good news is that the lavender is mild and I don’t notice the fragrance after about a minute. But in no doubt that I smell it every day when I apply the product. What did I like about the product?Use daily, morning and evening. Use twice a day for best results. Honey Balm should be used after your serum step and can be used before or after face oil. Always follow with SPF. As you can see from the photos, the moisturiser has an iridescence to it and quite frankly, this is nothing short of genius. The moisturiser glides on beautifully and produces an “instant” glow that immediately makes your skin look more radiant, dewy and youthful. This effect lasts for a good 5 hours). The result? As well as instant hydration, Honey Balm reduces water loss from the upper most layers of skin so that it stays moisturised for up to 24 hours. The infusion of lavender-tinted pearls provides an instant glow and soft-focus effect, leaving the skin dewy, glassy and gorgeous! Huda describes the moisturiser as having a texture which is divine and unlike anything else she’s tries. With a whipped, almost jelly-like consistency which helps it to melt into your skinfor the most amazing, sensorial experience.
