Nevertheless, these weapons are an enjoyable addition and two larger turbolaser turrets are positioned atop the hull. These can rotate and the barrels are individually articulated which is welcome, although the whole turbolaser structure elevates during the television series. I think recreating that movement would have been challenging here, particularly since spring-loaded shooters are situated between the barrels.

Thankfully, there aren’t too many strange colors that stand out, which is often a problem that plagues large LEGO Star Wars ships. The only ones that look a bit out of place are the blue Technic pins on the side walls. Moff Gideon's intriguing command vessel, which resembles the prominent Arquitens-class Cruiser, has attracted attention and 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser appears quite impressive. This model captures an authentic shape and contains several appealing minifigures, notably including Moff Gideon and his menacing Dark Trooper. Minifigures Moff Gideon’s minifigure includes a two-coloured cape and all the printing on the torso needed to accurately capture his appearance, combined with two well-realised expressions on a dual-moulded head.The figure can be attached via a stud at the bottom, while the hands are bars so it has a couple attachment points. Last but not least is Baby Yoda aka Grogu, who isn’t a new figure, but still looks absolutely adorable. Inside the box are bags numbered from 1 to 9. Strangely my bag 4 had a bit of a small tear in it, but thankfully no pieces were missing. There aren’t too many other details but I suppose that was necessary to prevent the limited space from becoming overcrowded. As such, there is a fair bit of space to pose minifigures and act out scenes from the show.

Here’s what the TIE looks like when it’s inside the hangar at the front. Unfortunately it’s not attached with any studs, so if you move the cruiser around too much the TIE can fall out. However, several spots in the interior cannot hold figures when the ship cover is closed, due to the height limitations. This is slightly disappointing but still understandable, as preserving the correct external shape is more important to me than usable interior space. The second minifigure is Cara Dune. This is her second minifigure appearance after 75254 AT-ST Raider, and could be the last given the fact that the actress was fired by Disney. Imperial Light Cruiser is basically ripped off the screen, featuring Moff Gideon’s command ship and a star-studded cast of minifigures. Let’s take a closer look! i clearly do not understand who needs that much remakes.. and its ooooold.. the beard of that is longer then 10 years. if i would let mine grow that long i would be falling over and over.

And on both what’s on the outside and the inside, 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser delivers. The unique, striking shape of the cruiser is perfectly captured in proportions and detail around the exterior, thanks to a slight Technic-frame construct on the inside. The all-grey colour scheme works against highlighting the subtle angles that have been recreated in the model, but it all still comes together effectively at the end as the reason why your eye so easily accepts the authentic nature of what’s in front of you. And, with the cover open, there’s enough space to recreate iconic scenes from the Mandalorian season finale! Beyond that, 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser does what it needs to do –strike a balance between play and display in recreating a large-scale ship in LEGO form. But that it has to do so in direct competition with such a range of other LEGO Star Wars ships releasing at the same time, and all of them much cheaper, is where it faces a real challenge. — Characters — Corresponding with larger Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Class 546 Cruiser is powered using three primary engines beside four supplemental engines. However, unlike classic Star Destroyers, these engines are relatively exposed and this vessel replicates their shape quite successfully. The dark bluish grey accents across the armour look appealing, in particular.
