About this deal

Noah Slade is a world-famous F1 racer for Bandini, and he is the best. He has three world champioships under him, but his world is flipped upside down when his team hires a new driver to be his partner, Santiago, who is also his rival. Maya Alatorre has just graduated college and decides to travel with her brother Santiago for the season of Grand Prix's, and that's when she meets Noah. She is working on her vlog, trying to get her name out there, and decides to start vlogging behind the scenes about the races and interviews with the drivers growing her viewers. She is warned by her brother to stear clear of the other drivers, but she can't seem to stay away from Noah, and they aren't able to hide from their attraction to one another any longer. When her brother finds out about their secret relationship, will he forgive her?

A good portion of the races in real life are really, really boring. Particularly Monaco. You literally can't drive side by side in Monaco. This was a cookie cutter romcom that fit every box, it was emotional, romantic, there's some miscommunication trope (twice to 3 times), sex after 60%, a little bit of a slow-burn and a happy ending. The dialogues are so typical. Expect to see sentences like- I let go of the breath I didn't realise I was holding in. Or How do I do that? You're a smart guy, figure it out. Like dude for once, give the man an idea on what to do. But yeah you get the gist.

A chill runs down my spine. Unable to move with my body trapped, I sit while Jax’s car swerves before ramming into mine, the turn from earlier making me vulnerable to another hit. Holy shit. My body shudders and my head painfully bounces ag The whole aesthetics of the book was amazing, it didn’t feel as though I was reading at all. I could so vividly imagine everything so clearly and it felt as though I was there with them travelling and at the races. This book has absolutely made me in love with F1 and I am so grateful that I read it.star solely because Noah has the balls to go to therapy at last and Santi is the only character with braincells here. So about Maya. Maya is twenty-three, Spanish (VERY emphasised in the story only when convenient, but also in such a stereotypical fashion that my Spanish friend actually got insulted by it) and Santi's younger sister. This is one of the first things that we know about her: Scared of me contesting your three-title standing? Thought you’d be happy with me staying in your shadow, forever trying to catch up to the legendary Nicholas Slade.” Distaste colors my voice.

The author probably wrote this with the idea that this was quirky, and that she is a strong female that overcomes adversity. But all this did was infuriate me because how badly can you screw up your university choices? And for what reasons? It just makes me feel that she has no direction, no aim for life, and that she has to pay the price later. Yes, I am those people that consider this as a failure instead of a restart. I know books aren’t meant to be realistic but cmon . Your trying to tell me out of all the people there Zara was the ONLY good creator ? Please make it make sense . This is also a GRUMPY-SUNSHINE book. They are my least favorite, but I actually enjoyed how this was written. The sunshine main character was way less annoying than I thought she would be. We also get some amazing down syndrome representation in this book, since the FMC's sister has down syndrome. now I didn’t think I’d enjoy this book as much as I did. because it’s giving me “Disneyland but for adults.” and grown ass adults obsessed with Disneyland already deserve the most brutal deaths in my opinion. /j…kindaHer vlog increases and things start looking better with behind-the-scenes videos and experiences with her new “best friend,” Sophie, who is the child of Bandini’s team principal.
