It’s well balanced and ergonomic enough to use for extended periods of time. I used the vacuum function for 20 minutes before it got too hot and my arms weren’t sore at all. Not only suitable for clearing fallen leaves in the autumn or after a storm, this cordless leaf blower is able to be used year-round for clearing grass trimmings, sawdust, snow, gutters, or even for drying vehicles and machinery, making it an essential and versatile tool for keeping your outdoor spaces clean and tidy. Before we take a closer look at this leaf blower it would be good to understand what I was looking for in a leaf blower and why it meets my personal requirements. I don’t have a huge garden but have large trees at the end that shed their leaves starting in early October. I decided a corded leaf blower would provide the power I required with a minimum cable length of 10 metres to allow me to cover the whole garden. The reason I did not choose a petrol leaf blower is due to requiring maintenance and producing more noise and fumes that my neighbours would not appreciate on a Sunday morning. I also ruled out a battery leaf blower due to them costing significantly more and having reduced power/run time for little gain. I therefore decided a corded leaf blower would be the best option to meet my requirements. I had to bend over and position the vacuum vertically above each leaf for it to work which was a frustrating waste of time. It’s well balanced on the shoulder strap and easy to swing around rounding up leaves. It’s a shame the zip-up bag lets it down because there’s nothing else to complain about in terms of use. The Von Haus modelis a 3000-watt garden vacuum with an integral mulcher and leaf blower. Von Haus is a good brand and it performed all the various functions well despite having no power adjustment.Only 1800 watts so it is considerably less powerful than other models, but it works better due to its ‘do-one-thing properly-at-time’ design.
